[Rae'vyn Kaldres]

Damn it! Rae’vyn cursed inwardly, returning her breathing to a normal pace and watching the doors, her eyes flicking occasionally to the windows. Knowing that one of the doors led to freedom, and possible a large amount of items that could easily converted into weapons in a few moments.

Snapping her head around to watch the man moving toward the woman who had spoken to Rae, she watched the pair, frowning at the woman’s pain, pain she shouldn’t be able to feel. Blocking out the screams, pushing the aside, Rae’vyn knew she couldn’t help that lady, but the others, perhaps.

Looking down at her toes, she concentrated hard, focussing all her energy and thought until her toe twitched. Her right hand twitched anyway, due to the mechanical skeleton and the magic that flowed through it. The man visited the other women and Rae’vyn turned her head to look at him, her face betraying nothing and especially showing no fear. His words phased her little, she had received worse threats against her person many patterns ago.

Watching the needle move closer to her leg, Rae’vyn coughed, hopefully causing him to look up at her for a split second, giving her time for her stiff shoulder to propel her arm across her form and grab his wrist and the syringe, forcing it deep into his thigh.
“Don’t scream, or I’ll kill you, now how do I get out?” She would say, squeezign the liquid into his body and watchng him to collapse paralysed to the floor.
