It wiggled.

The big toe wiggled. Just briefly, just a twitch, but it wiggled. That meant, in all probability, that the other little piggies could get moving any time now.

But she would not have time to find out right now, because the man came in. Bloodied up to his elbows with whatever horrors he had just performed.

The cough worked, he glanced and the stiff shoulder also worked. Her arm propelled across her.....

..... and there the plan did not go so well. Her hand hit against his, knocking the syringe to the floor and causing it to skitter across the room. He looked at her in shock as her hand fell, but she found that she could not now lift it back, as the muscles required to do that were simply not working.

And so the blood covered man looked at her, and very very calmly stepped back, picking up the syringe. He smiled at her as he stepped forward, using one arm to press down on the hand she had moved, ensuring that it was snared. Then, with the hand of that arm he grabbed her hair and held her head in place.

And the syringe he placed against her eye. And with a glint in his own that showed her that one movement and he would plunge it into her eye itself, he pressed the syringe down a fraction away from her eyeball. The pain was intense and exquisite.

THen, looking at her with an expression of almost serene insanity, he chained her arms to the bed. The cuffs were already there, and it meant that she was held in a most uncomfortable position, her arms twisted cruelly upwards and behind her.

Then, he took a very very sharp and nasty looking knife and spoke his first words to her.

Hello, pretty he whispered.

Then, there was nothing but pain.
