Norin guessed what was going on although he had no proof of it. Didn't matter. He looked at Veleraen and prepared to sprint if the two figures noticed them. He stopped the giant and whispered
"What do you think those two are doing? It sounds like they're trying to break into the orphanage." At this moment a soft voice followed a curse, saying
"Come on, you will wake the dead at this rate. If you wake them then we aren't going to be able to get our hands on any of hte little bligters are we?"
As the sounds and the shadows had become apparent to the two Veldars, Norin tried to pull the giant guard into a close alley where they would still be able to look out at the entrance to the orphanarium. Norin did this so that the two shadows by the door would not easily notice the two guards who had spotted them.
"Sounds like they're going to kidnap some of the orphans. Should we intervene and arrest them, then ask them questions? Or should we let them go into the orphanage and catch them on their way out?" Norin didn't know what to choose. Why would someone kidnap orphans, for what purpose? If they were arrested without proof that they were going to kidnap the orphans, then there was nothing the Veldar Elite could do. However, if Norin and Veleraen didn't scare them away, they might actually succeed and get away, just like the dwarf Morli did once. Then again, if they scared them away, then they might just come back another night. Norin really needed some support from his fellow Veldar and hoped that the giant had a third solution.
OOC: Sorry for the late reply but I'm now ready to rejoin the Allerian community after a long holiday and two months of intensive studying at the university. I do have a few requests to Adder though. There are two threads I would like to know what I should do with. Should I just abandon them? Should I self mod them? Should I finish them? Will there be someone who will help me out with them? The first thread is "Search for Morli" while the second thread is "Murder in the Streets". Thanks Adder
PS: Nice Map... Finally something useful.
