(OOC: Sure, it’s an open thread, feel free)
The natural capabilities of the Esh’lahier were much alike to the natural instinct of all elves, which shared the common ancestry through their origins. Her ability to pick up sound and images were far superior to that of any normal being, and thus, was aware of the environment around her, even at rest.
Though she was in no way trained as perhaps a druid would’ve been, to commune with the forest, it was easy to spot the brief flicker of light that instantly captured her attention.
Pulling herself up from the slouching position against the wayward stone, Lindi stared at the direction of light in hope of catching the sight again. The watch proved futile, but had managed to snag her attention nevertheless.
Curiosity roused, the female elf stood up, drawing herself into proper posture, while dusting her self off for pieces of broken leaves that might had stuck onto her clothing. Although the forest of light was to be feared, she was still close to the comforts of the city, and the Esh’lahier guarded their capital with valiant persistence.
She had never encountered genuine harm, so there was nothing to cast shadow on her newly risen adventure down the path towards the gleaming light.
