The voice roused him from his thoughts, and the Human man glanced up at Ian, giving a very slight nod and welcoming smile in response. "Serale to you, also. I've no problems with you joining in. I find it quite interesting to just watch people going about their lives. Gives a little insight into the city, wouldn't you say?" It was also very true what Ian said about people in general, at least it was to Kas' mind. Entertaiment and action could spring up at any moment, while the depth's of a persons mind could hide all sort's of untold secrets, easily spotted by someone whom knew how to interpret body language. This got the Human man wondering if they would spot anyone interesting this brightening, though the next comment drew his emerald green gaze to the man sitting at the bar, enjoying his drink.
A dark brow raised in curiosity as the Human man listened to Ian give his analysis of the drinker. Judging by the apeprance, a clerk was quite possible, but then Kas also considered the possibility of a scribe. He could be someone paid to simply copy books, but he could agree that he was most likely just enjoying a drink after work. As for why he was looking over his shoulder, Kas had only one answer. "He's either afraid of being caught... which means he either hasn't finished work, or he's done something. The other possibility is that he's waiting for someone, which would also fit in with why he keeps scanning the crowds of people. In either case, he also seems nervous."
