The sergeant kept his face impassive as he was corrected for he'd made his point and from now he'd reserve his judgement. His commander took note of the exchange and doubtless she would deal with it in her own time, but for now she'd not take the sergeant to task, not until her visitor was gone at the least and she was pleased that Keldon didn't take it further else she would have had to step in.
"That will be all Sergeant." Her expression said everything that needed to be said and that worthy nodded shortly to her before leaving them alone.
"Thank you your Excellency," she replied as she took her seat once more and listened attentively. Pleasantries done with she considered his question for a moment before avoiding it. "I'm sure that my record speaks for itself." She smiled to take any sting out of her words, but for now she had similar reservations to her Sergeant for not only was she from one of the most powerful families in the city, she also headed it's Guard. Keldon for all his rank was technically higher than hers had yet to impress her, though she was fair minded enough to allow him the chance and that he'd written before did much to raise him in her estimation.
