Eye Ball A CYREXIAN ON THE LOOSE - Continued

In the last episode of our epic tale, the horrible beast otherwise known as The Cyrexian had raised itself from the ground after it had been slammed into the cobbles by a team effort from a mighty giant and a brave Moriquendi. The master ranger, known to many as Hemlock and his associate, the moriquendi Quan, had closed in on the beast before it reared it's mighty head again.

Fleeing before the wrath of the demon lord, three guards tried to slow it down with their mastercrafted halberts, but a spell from the devil made them less then sticks as razor sharp pieces of his bony armour made the fiend inpenetrable for the weaponry of the guards. Also, the fiendish demon was blurred, by the insane speed of the spikes. closing in on the beast was suicide, and an arrow loosed by a ranger had shown that even things as fast as a bow launched projectile could not stand in face of such a mighty shield.

Now the demon stood, about two yards from three guards. To their left stood Quan, about six yards away. To their right, Hemlock.

Behind the Demon three other brave guardsmen held position, their halberts intact, they dared not use them untill the demonic shield came down.

About six yards further to the demons back, stood the few rangers that Hemlock had taken with him on this dangerous battle. A further yard back stood the wounded giant, a sure hero in this battle.

Sylvon stood with the giant, a brave lad, although he didn't have the right weapons just yet, his heart was in the right place.

In the background, the yelling could be heard from the tournament, still going strong even though the hardest battles were not fought on the mats there, no they were fought in the hearts of everyone present here. The second round of this magnificent battle was on and it would no doubt prove to be an exciting one.
