Being the Governor was a lot of work and perhaps more than she had expected but still she was enjoying it in an odd sort of way. His question when it came bought a swift answer...
"A census of the Province!" she said almost before he had finished asking.
"I think we need to know who we have in the Province and where they are located.
Once we know that we will know where to concentrate funding and capital works, what we can realistically expect in taxes..." she added thoughtfully before asking if he had any suggestions to add of his own.
