Rand had been looking for sparring partners for some time now, but that was easier said than done in a city where he knew no one. The best chance for him to get the experience he needed to continue his pursuit in becoming the best fighter of the empire was to enter contests. He needed to prove himself time and time again and hone in on his best techniques and strengthen those he was weaker at. Entering a tournament seemed like his best bet, plus he needed the money. He was absolutely broke, he had not a single crown to his name.
Entering the Colosseum he stepped up to the registration and began to fill out the form.
