If the short duration of the hand clasp bothered Strover, the young half-elf showed nothing of it by word or deed. "A pleasure to meet you, Aydyn," he said warmly. "I wonder --"
But what he wondered would have to wait, for it was then that the two were joined by another, older man, introducing himself as Brother Titusarov. "Erm," Strover said eloquently. "It is a pleasure to meet you as well, Brother Titusarov, he went on, giving the newcomer a friendly smile. "I am not sure that I'd classify myself as a follower of the path of honor and peace, either, however. I would say that it's closer than the other, though I am hardly perfect."
That was by choice, of course, though Strover was not about to say so. Honor and peace? Not hardly. And yet, the thieves of Nexus Prime had their own peculiar sense of honor and their own brand of morality. It wasn't as if they were complete anarchists, after all, and there were certain rules of governing what Strover rather whimsically liked to think of as honest criminals. Just because his profession happened to be illegal didn't mean that he had no morals, after all.
Instead of speaking any of this aloud, though, he simply smiled at his two companions. "As for the marigolds, though... Well, miracles are rare enough. I am content to wait for this one."
