[Straylor Leonard]

The weather outside was ... frightful. Not delightful at all. It scared the animals, caused a few of Straylor's hens to die, and looked a lot like a hurricane even from Northern Trysvale. Overall, Stray was worried sick about the crops too. Too much of one thing was bad enough ... but now, even the winds seem to be conspiring against the Trysvallians.

Muttering underneath his breath, Straylor ventured towards the docks at the heeding of his farmhands. The lot were worried sick about some kind of phenomenon rising from the ocean. The towns people were known quite well for their uncanny ability to rig up a story while adding several more details in there just for effect. One such 'report' suggested that a hoard of dragons were making their way towards the Carmelyn, breathing fire as they went -- setting the ocean on fire too! At least, that's what Ralf said.

Shaking off the rain and cold, Straylor pulled on his long jacket in hopes of keeping the wind out as much as possible. He wore his usual military boots for the occasion, but definately tucked in his trousers for added protection. Bringing along his shortsword was an added advantage, along with some other items that he deemed necessary -- such as the herbs he purchased in Natura and his buckler. Armour was out of the question, but the hard leather did help keep the rain out so he wore that benath his jacket. Chainmail would just weigh him down and make him colder.

Turning towards no one in particular, Straylor asked what the orange glow was.

"I don't know!! Leave me alone!!", the person cried back.

Shaking his head for the second time that brightening, Straylor decided to fold his hands over his eyes in hopes of getting a better look. And while he did so, he made a mental note to use his Wand when the opportune moment came to check out the odd weather report under the influence of Clara.
