Seth Lavryl is an upstanding Citizen
Seth slinked out of the edge of the thicket, gray cloak quite nearly drenched and now absent of the protection the high leafy boughs had given westward of the gusts and gales of wind. Seth squinted as the rolling zephyr hit him smack on the face, the sudden rush of air and sheet of rain scrunching up his face as he reached back and throw over his cloak’s hood to hide the grizzled wet mane of hair now completely sopping. Dark blue eyes stared up menacingly at the skies as he adjusted the weight of the small badger that hung limply over his shoulder, the pesky beast having swiped through McMirray’s wife’s vegetable garden. You just don’t mess with an elderly woman’s vegetables, and ole hapless Mack had been in for it a good candlemark or two before he caught Seth walking by and sent him off to eliminate the problem, hellacious rains or no.

It had been some pretty time-consuming wet work, and Seth had lost two arrows in the process. One’s tip broken into the thick trunk of some misplaced cedar, and the other lost in the thistles and brambles that grew more prolific the further in he went. How he’d managed to catch sight of the badger the third time he’d no earthly idea.

Mumbling about the likes of old couples and failed marriages, Seth was just turning down pass the Clack when he caught sight of the buzz of activity rushing towards the docks. Not just rushing. Full out sprinting to and from, there and away, the cumbersome antics of the crowd both confusing and frightening all at the same time. They seemed to be running from… something. Shouldering his badger, Seth wiped his brow from the rain that whipped about his rugged facial features and brushed past a few denizens of the town, intent to see for himself just what the matter was.

He arrived shortly after the Rogator, though some distance away, and spying Klue first before the odd orange glow that stood sentinel some miles away from the coastline, he offered a quick nod of appraisal. Sloping horizontally, his eyes swept the horizon in one fluid manner, taking in the dismal and foreboding sight of churning clouds and the unsettling eerie effulgence with a hard swallow. “Well strap me up and -” the wind drowned out the rest of his comment, though it was obvious the human’s attention stood riveted upon the iridescent glow.
