Prism is unknown and forgotten
In his hometown Seth may very well have been an accomplished hunter, but here in the woods of Arios that didn’t matter. The things that Seth may have killed off of this island were normal for the most part, even if they were slightly dangerous in Trysvale the danger upped it’s self here in the Ariosan wilderness for the animals here never slept and so were more often than not mad. Wild animals were fierce in these woods which is why most hunters went off in small groups, that way they could watch each others back, and if one missed the other may hit. Seth however was more used to the ways of his home and so went off alone without seeking aid from any of the locals besides asking an trails men where danger may be. It was not that he wanted to avoid the danger, but walk to it. If the locals had known of his intentions they would have assumed him mad too from lack of sleep.

The boy thought that he had the advantage in the woods over the animal that he wished to hunt. Time would tell if he had a righteous reason for this or not though the outlook of many would be that he will never return to the town. The dorin wouldn’t be the only one to think Seth an idiot, he would be the laughing stock of the town if they had known. The consequences of what he was trying to do, and alone would be regrettable and likely something that the locals would have to tell other mainlanders to ensure that they are compliant with what they say. Seth may very well go down in Arios stories to keep visitors from wandering into the woods alone.

Looking at the map Seth would see that he still have a few candle marks treck before he reached an area where the Ursidae had been marked on the map. It was entirely possible that there would be none there when he got there, they moved with their food source.

The fire lit immediately even in the slightly damp wood from the light drizzle of earlier. The small ball of paper and twigs that he had bought lit in an instant with an amazingly brilliant flame that burned quite long all things considering. The lowest sticks caught first before the fire started feeding on the rest of the wood. It was simple enough for Seth to collect branches that had fallen on the ground or pulled off of trees. He was after all surrounded by wood. He wasn’t an amateur that much was for sure. He built a place for his fire to be safe and dug a hole. He wouldn’t burn down the forest if he was lucky, not that it would matter…it would be back shortly. Seth however wouldn’t have these properties.

For the most part the night was uneventful; the screeching of bats could be heard in the night sky over his tent. The most likely reason was the bugs being drawn to the flame of Seth’s fire. Every so often the shadow of bat went over his tent flying in front of the fire. A porcupine walked by his campsite and left without doing anything interesting. Near the crack of dawn a howl could be heard in the distance and the bats began to leave and everything grew silent.

Morning came, Seth had survived his first darkening of his hunting trip.
