There was silence for a time as the spirit of Kelron contemplated and sifted through his memories from his former life; a sigh seeped through the air before he softly spoke. "My life, and the memories of living, seem like a vague dream here. Most of the things I found important in the living realm seem trivial from here but alas, some things are still important and dear to me; that being the two of you. And so my daughters, patiently give me a few moments and I will try to give you a memory..."
The flame in the stone lantern flickered and no sound could be heard from the spirit realm. In the living realm however, the sounds of birds could be heard exchanging news with one another in loud chirps. The brightening was now warm and bright and the shrine seemed to have changed its demeanour from formerly being eerie and chilling, to now appearing more welcoming and ordinary. Just before the silence from the realm beyond seemed to outlast the few moments the sisters were told; the voice of Kelron spoke. "I - I can remember you were always a fighter; you loved your weapons and although sometimes I wished you could have been more like your sister and be more interested with arcana, I was so proud of you. I knew you could look after yourself, no matter what life threw at you, that was reassuring although a father never stops worrying about his daughters..." His voice faded, almost as though he had fallen into deep contemplation or perhaps was lost in the memory.
Time was pressing on and Kelron felt as though there was still much more to discuss. When he was about to ask if there was anyrhing more he could help his daughters with, another memory surfaced. "I can remember I used to secretly watch your blades training. I was never good myself with weapons and did not feel the passion that you did, but just watching you...you looked so beautiful dancing with the blades. My warrior princess." The voice of Kelron fell to silence again and he did not bother asking what more his daughters wanted to know from him. For the first time the spirit wished he was back in the living realm again. He wished he could be with his daughters in person; to look them in their eye; to let them see his love and pride, to embrace them; and if he could, if he could he would become a student instead of the tutor and learn weaponry to deal with some Rhasics himself.
