OOC: Okay, Gauls is getting the okay for a heavy infantry lore skill and as soon as he gets me my package details I'll post it in my CIR and everything will be up to speed!!
IC: Tasad took the offered chair, sitting back somewhat relaxed. Somewhat, meaning that when one was being interviewed by a superior officer, wether or not they were in their chain of command, one sat at a modified position of parade rest, hindpaws flat on the floor, paws laid on the knees, head held high, shoulders back, looking straight ahead.
After the Cencoris had finished speaking Tasad's response was typical for the lionoid. Direct, blunt, and to the point. Moving his eyes from the wall to meet the human's behind the desk Tasad said," Sir, my last rank held was that of Senior Chief Petty Officer, in charge of a heavy infantry marine platoon, the Winged Lions. I have slightly over ten years military experience, with nine of those ten as heavy infantry. We were short on trained officers and so I was ordered to fill the breach. Although technically part of the Navy we were formed with the clear intentions of meeting threats that formed within the confines of our shores, and so I have no nautical experience. I know many of the requirements needed to train, drill, equip, defend and attack with a heavy infantry unit, to the size of a platoon. I can dress that line to ensure that there is no opening for the enemy to exploit, and to do maximum damage to said enemy. I have served in eight different minor engagements on the Island of Olympia from driving pirates out of dug in fortified positions, to assulting caves and fighting monsters on their own turf. I know how to motivate and care for my men, ensure proper discipline, and make sure that they will assault the Gates of Aternia if I so require it. Most importantly I can adapt to changes in the field, without having to have my superiors hold my hand and draw it in water colors, and I have ambition, and motivation. As for the Sherian Serpents, I would like to remain in the heavy infantry and perform my duties there, either in training soldiers or by leading them in combat. I am no longer with the Defenders as it was time for me to re-enlist when I heard that there were possible officer openings with the Serpents."
Tasad delivered his speech in his typical rumble. It could be told from the tone of his voice that he was not bragging, but simply answering the question that was put to him, as effectively and quickly as possible.
