What was worse than a hippie?

A tree hugging hippie.

Sadly, this part of Secyclion seems to be full of 'em formers.

Gladly, they weren't the latters such as those back home in Moonwillow.

But nevermind about them hippies, hipsters or whatevah they're called, Kenkuroi was cool with them. Hell, his family, father's side were a bunch of tree hugging hippies. So long as they don't start touching the young half elf in inappropriate places!

Hands in pocket, the youngster approached the scene, attracted by the scent of cigarettes, psychedelic stuff and booze. He wore a simple grey shirt stained with today's Pracenda, collar and shirt untucked, sleeves rolled to elbows, top few buttons undone, and a pair of dark blue pants and leather boots, all of mainland fashion. A coat was draped over his shoulders, its sleeves hanging around carelessly.

Appearance-wise he looked rather out of place compared to the high fashion sense the other youths were strutting in......similar to how that bum-looking guy who's trying to burn some chairs.

Character-wise though, the half elf was blending in with the crowd comfortably, almost as if he was right at home. Cig in mouth, softly humming along with the rocking Song mage, the youth grabbed any of those passing booze whenever his tankard ran dry (which took just a few gulps), as well as those stuff those kids were gettin high off, for some self experimentation (Ken had already some exposure trippin with the elves of Moonwillow) and of course, stuffing all available pockets and holes with as much free ciggies as he can stuff.

Yesh... FREE ciggies...

This was one of those rare darkenings he wasn't stuck at home attending to whiny baby Rose and whatever promise he had with Lyr of returning early this darkening had all been forgotten, washed aside by the sight and sound of free smoke...

"As long as it free, I'm in!" a now semi-drunk half elf shouted back at the the 80s Glen O'Brien lookalike.
