The sixth regiment from Daittern, five thousand provincials with Chargul at its lead, was making its way towards Auster and would be there on the eighteenth, if weather did not slow them down. With them were supplies of stone from the walls of Daittern - a single day's work. Naturally, they also carried food and water in the supplies, but that was not intended for Auster.
