The dwarf behind the desk glanced up as Thracyn approached, his eyes squinting behind his flashing spectacles as he stared down the young man. Sergeant Caldor might have been a hero among the younger recruits from his work with the vampire business... but the balding dwarf in the blue and gold uniform was clearly not impressed. But as the dwarf opened his mouth to speak, a strange thing happened. Instead of the gruff voice that one would expect, a rather feminine voice came from the dwarf instead... it became quickly apparent, however, that the voice wasn't coming from the dwarf at all, but rather from behind Thracyn. "It is good to see you again."

Lt. Jasmine looked the same as always in her usual uniform of blue and gold with the insignia of her rank boldly displayed there. Her auburn hair was tied neatly at the nape of her neck while her blue eyes sparkled with the easy friendliness she always seemed to radiate. "Are you ready for your longsword training? We'll have to go out into the courtyard which is unfortunately outside... but we won't remain cold for long." After waiting for Thracyn's response, Jasmine would then lead the young man back out the door and into the training courtyard. There were recruits and other members of the Protectorat milling around there, either taking part in training of their own or watching their peers.

Jasmine moved easily through them, the sword at her hip seemingly part of her body as she made for a clear space where she could instruct Sergeant Caldor in relative peace. They would be one-on-one on that brightening rather than the group training Thracyn had received in his basic. "You have been well, I trust?" The woman made light conversation as they finally arrived at their little section of the training courtyard, her eyes flashing merrily as she sent Thracyn a warm smile.
