Bladewyn watched the young man's lips curve into a smile. These mirror-people certainly wanted to know a lot about the bystanders that got sucked into their world.
"It's... fascinating. I can't imagine why people try so hard to look into the future when there's so much to learn from the past. Everything we know today is built on something that happened before. I love looking into the past to see what building blocks make up the things I know and feel and do today. Like Jaedaxia, for example..."
She looked out the window of the castle's high room, gazing into the sunset. Were they still in Jaedaxia? She wasn't sure, but the golden-purple sky reminded her of the view from her own bedroom in the strange and lovely city.
"I love Jaedaxia and I want to know all I can about it. It's so infused with history and stories of people who lived there long ago, and things that happened before my time, before I came. If I don't understand those things, how can I ever hope to understand the Jaedaxia that I live in now?"
