”Why I am Bal’deron!” he stated very clearly when Lyr accused him of not being helpful. He thought he was being very helpful; the leaves on his branches rustled as if he were shrugging his shoulders.
Moving with the characteristic slowness of Treants Bal’deron stepped out into the clearing. He was no more than six feet tall and had the appearance of a silver birch. His facial features blended into the black markings on his silvery trunk so that the elf and human had to really look to find his face at all.
”Haven’t you heard that the Guardians have hidden Silrosia. Alll the elves have been turned out into the forest?” he said with a rustle of his leaves.
”Have to prove themselves worthy protectors of the ancient forests as their ancestors were.”
