Flying at night was decidedly more difficult than flying during the day. Rarely where there the thermals that made flying much, much easier, but near the water, winds usually picked up at night. Kour'el had taken too flying at all hours of the days and night too stave off sleep. She didn't like sleeping, it was dangerous. She had fallen asleep once and woken up as an elf. Sleep was now the enemy, only when she couldn't keep her eyes open from exhaustion did she sleep, and it was usually troubled with dreams.

So now, she was flying above the beaches, watching the life around the fires and contemplating dropping a few rocks on the unsuspecting soft skins below. Perhaps she would be lucky and would hear the ripe watermelon sound as some skulls collapsed. Nothing like a blood bath from above too ruin the mood down below. Sure, a few lives would be ruined, if she decided too have some fun, but they were just soft skins for the most part. They were inferior, the draconess knew this from being one of them, not just from being a dracon. Filthy, disgusting soft skins. Of course it was possible a few of her chained kin would be down there, but they embraced the soft skins and became as low as them by hiding, they deserved no mercy like the people they lied too be.

Perhaps it would appear as divine judgement from the gods, that would be ironic, given Kour had turned her back after she had been abandoned. The brought a maniacally grin too the reptilian face, and she veered too look for some rocks. Then someone was screaming, and it caught her short attention span. Rocks forgotten for now, she veered and scanned for the person screaming about madness.

Finally she found him, by one of the fires, and she followed from above, lazily, while the man and a hated elf in typical soft skin fashion wandered into town. Perhaps there really was nothing, perhaps this was merely a pair of lovers for some quick love in an alleyway or a prostitute and his customer for a quicker transaction. Quickly the draconess became bored with the pair, and was back too looking for bricks or rocks too ruin the parties. Other people's misery would make her happy for a while.

The unexpectedly, one of the males broke a window, and entered the shop. Circling around, Kour'el landed on a store opposite and watched as the fire began too burn. And she laughed. It was wonderful too see the soft skins destroying one another. All she needed now was some snacks and she'd be set. Then the city guards showed up and threatened too ruin her amusement. This would not do. Hissing with rage, the draconess flexed her fingers, already feeling the warm spray of blood on her scales and spread her wings, swooping down into the street. Her target was the remaining cop, and she would hit him from behind, hopefully he wouldn't even know what hit him as she disemboweled him alive.
