Iseult's hand retracted from the man's ankle. He hadn't fallen and that was fine with her in retrospect since she hadn't really given it much thought at all what might happen if she had been successful in jerking the man off his balance. With her luck, he probably would have come falling down on top of her, something that was at once humiliating and probably painful. She was rather glad he'd stayed on his feet and even more immensely comforted when he slunk off the table like some dejected dog kicked for making all that racket.
With the first man gone, she shifted her attention to the latecomer. She recognized him instantly as the one who had bought some pieces off her at the bazaar, as well as one of those who had been standing around Bladewyn with her cake. Which explained a bit where she had known the singer from, although she still could not dredge up a name into her mind.
She frowned, picking up her mug again and sipped at it, then seemed to remember, again, that someone had spoken to her. The cider must have fuzzed her mind more than she'd expected. "Serale, Thracyn," she greeted him belatedly. "Sorry...I couldn't remember where I knew him. From the fountain, I think? Bladewyn and her cake?"
The glassblower gestured after Harvengure, who had meandered away from the table and was leaning forward, talking with the bartender. She frowned as she watched them, a hand lifting to rub her brow absently. They were pointing, staring, right at both Iseult and Thracyn. Iseult, who did not like attention, shifted uncomfortably and set her mug on the table, turning it about with her hands, the noise a dull grind against the table. She didn't like the look that was given as he finished conversing with the bartender, the way he's face settled suspiciously, worriedly.
So Iseult simply returned the stare with bland unfriendliness, though she spoke to Thracyn without looking at the man. "I guess it's not wise to pull someone's ankle when they're singing their guts out?" she noted with a slight rise of her brow. "He doesn't seem very pleased with me."
