OOC for Abestat Military Base

This is the OOC thread for the Abestat Military Base.

All questions about the military, about recruitment, about training, about guard and patrol duties, and about promotions should be posted here.

For convenience, I will also house certain governmental facilities here (or their military equivalent) so if there's something official you need, be sure to ask the gate guard and he'll direct you.

What you know OOC:
The reason for the sudden and massive growth of the military base is the invasion of Hazbone and his orcs, which killed many guards and caught Abestat unprepared. This, plus being so close to Alleria Prime and the whole Julos/Audrey mess, is causing Abestat to totally mobilize.

ooc: I have a question or two...maybe three (I don't know yet)
1.) What will my duties be now as a corporal?
2.) How often do we have to go on patrol?
(Yes there is a third question after all!)
3.) Will we ever know the outcome of the orc raid???? No one has posted in it for a very long time...

I wanna know if I die or not! (sighs and shakes her head sadly).

You're in Delta Company, 2nd platoon.

That was easy.

Yarrow:
As a corporal, you don't have assigned duties the way privates do. You will get daily/weekly details from your sergeant, and you'll be responsible to keep an eye on any privates under you. It's like a pyramid in the army, and you're now one level up.

As a corporal, one of your duties will be the patrol roster. You can make yourself go as little as often or possible on various patrols and details, though if you always give yourself all the easy and cushy assignments, you will get a pillow thrown over your head one night.

This military base IS the outcome of the orc raid. Jade 'died,' and lots of NPC people were hurt and wounded. Abestat ended up looking very foolish, and is now building a tremendous military.

I was wondering what my new responsibilities are now that I am a Private First Class? Also I was wondering just how many different classes of Private there are?

That is a good question...i can't remember quite right...for some reason i was thinking Blue and silver, but i dunno if that is right...Justice, you remember what they look like?

Okay, regardless of what they used to be, the new uniforms are Blue chaised with silver.

You can assume you all did wonderfully at your assignments, which involve peeling potatoes, standing watch, going on drills, standing watch, rotating shifts, standing watch, hurrying up and waiting, standing watch and so forth. I've been in the military, and that's exactly what it's like.

I was wondering, what is my platoon/company's exact name. (Such as Delta Company, 2nd platoon and so forth.) All I know is that I have a commander named Ssss'kon.
