Registration: Trials de Espada (All Military PCs that wish to join this post here...)

Time Stamp: First of Kalendryas

As all of the military saw the registration booths go up, they quickly made their way towards them. There would be four teams competing in four different trials, and then only four teams that haven't been knocked out will proceed onto the final trial. The final trial will be the most difficult, and all of the four teams will face something more dangerous than any of them could ever think about.

At least this was what they all had heard from the various rumors going around. At the front registration desk, a large saurid stood there, placing the forms out infront of them, and giving the military men quills and ink to fill out the registration forms:

After the military men had given the saurid their registration forms, and the 200 crown entry fee, they would be on their way, and await further notice of what trial their team would participate in, and what all was happening with the games.

As the next person walked up, the saurid looked at them and said, "Here issss your regisssstration form...Pleasssse fill it out accurately, and then let me ssssee your military ID along with the entry fee of 200 crownssss." He then gave them a pen and quill as well as the registration form to fill out...

Piotr padded his way to the front of the line, wanting to impress his girlfriend Ashley.

Reason: to impress Ashley

Piotr winced when he found out there was a 200 crown entry fee, and went away feeling a bit dejected.

200 crowns seemed like a lot of money to join in the games, but Yarrow figured that if it were expensize then lesser people would join and that would create less demand....therefore there would be more room in the teams.

Here is my military ID and here is my 200 crowns in bank notes...you do take bank notes, correct? She asked the saurid with a smile. Her military ID was handed over along with the 200 crowns. If he took it then he took it and if not...she would just have to watch the games.

Keeva could barely contain the excitement welling up in the depths of her soul as she hurried over to where the registration booths had been set up. Here was another chance to prove that she wasn't the same weak, helpless girl that she had been in her earlier years; that she could fend for herself, and did not need to be protected by others.

The 200 crown registration fee worked to momentarily stun the girl into being motionally disabled. That was several cycle's worth of pay! Still, she hadn't come here, hadn't suffered the inate excitemet of wanting to join in the games, only to drop out over a petty little thing like entrance fees.

Taking one of the registration cards, Keeva was quick to fill it in with her elaborate, scrawled excuse for writing.

She'd be damned if she put down her real reasons for wanting to join. Those, after all, were strictly personal.

Handing over her MID, and the relevant amount of money in crowns, Keeva waited with barely suppressed excitement for the saurid to accept her registration.

Rsss'tan followed Yarrow, and filled out his applications as well. Then gave his military ID along with his 200 crowns to the Saurid that was eagerly waiting the registration forms. That saurid quickly stashed them away, and returned Yarrow, Keeva, and Rsss'tan their military IDs. He looked happily to the three of them, and then scowled at the foolish private who attempted to join, but didn't have enough money. "You will all get noticssssessss of what teamssss you are all on, and then the gamessss sssshall begin. Thank you for ssssigning up..." he said. Then he proceeded to awaiting more signups from anyone who was going to want to participate in the games...

OOC: Just so ya know, I am going to wait for about another week or two to actually start the games, so that I can see if I can get more military pc's involved.

Yarrow nodded her head slowly. This would give her enough time to get changed and grab a little bite to eat...maybe look around town a little and have a little "free time" to spare. She slowly drifted off. She would be back in a little while.

Yarrow arrived, well fed and fresh. She had slept a little, ate a bit and made sure her favorite weapons were well oiled and ready for what was about to happen. To say she wasn't nervous would be a lie because she was shaking in her boots. Her outside appearance, however, was one of mild 'not caring' even if her insides erupted with hot lava.

I saw the posting and came right away. She said to the registration fellow. She had put 200 crowns into it and so she wanted to make sure she had gotten here on time. She had jogged from the sign to here to get her warmed up, but the jog hadn't taken strength away from her in any way. I am ready...

The Saurid there smiled as he saw Yarrow. "You, Rsss'tan, and Keeva are all on one team. You sssssshall sssssstart with the Trial de Agua, the Trial of Water..." he said as she approached him. "We will give you the rulessssss, and detailssssss about the trialssssss, but for now we will need you to go the beach, and await the other two there..."

As he was finished speaking, Rsss'tan seemed to walk up right beside Yarrow, having his armor, and Abestatian uniform worn proudly. "Good morning Yarrow!" he said, cheerfully. "I couldn't have overheard that we are on the same team, right?" he asked. "Did I misssss very much?" he continued the questioning, so in hopes that Yarrow would be able to fill him in with all that he knew already.

Another Saurid managed to get there, as well as a few more elves, and some humans. There were even some katta and dorin, as well as a lonely rodenti. They would be on the other teams, and would be competing in the other three trials before they got to the Trial de Agua. All of the people whom joined the war games would be going through all four trials, and then finally into the fifth and final trial.

OOC: I will soon be puting up another post that is specifically for the Trial de Agua. Whenever i do so, you can start posting there after arriving at the beach with Rsss'tan, and Keeva. Enjoy!!!

We are to wait over by the beach for Keeva...we're all on one team. Our first trial is water. Yarrow told Rsss'tan with a little hop of excitment or stored up energy. I am glad to have you two at my side. I know I can trust you two. This takes a lot of pressure off. I know I can trust you to watch my back...instead of some stranger who could only be looking out for himself! Yarrow started to walk in thedirection of the beach.

Kellos walked in, or more ran, into te building. Skidding to a halt, he turned around and shut the door quietly, the latch sliding back into place with a muffled click. He turned back around, bowed slightly to the Saurid, and took one of the sheets. At seeing the entrance fee of 200 crowns, he bit his lip. He had intended to use his money to purchase a new weapon, but deciding that the rewards for this would be far greater, he accepted the fact. he quickly filled out the form as follows:

Patrol: Captain Raspith's squad
Main Weapon: Elvish longsword, Night Warrior Katana
Arcana training: none
Weapon training: Basic longsword
Reason for joining: To help hone my skills and to test my strength

Once he had completed the form, he held it out to the Saurid along with the 200 crowns.

Piotr finally managed to scrape up the 200 crown entrance fee, and headed over to once again sign up. "P-private P-Piotr rep-rep-reporting to. . . to sign up, p-please."

OOC: If an odd number of contestants sign up, Piotr will play to keep things even. If an even number of contestants sign up, one of the PCs is going to find himself working guard duty that day.

Nahh... it will be poor little Piotr working.

The saurid gladly took Kellos's information, and crowns, as well as Piotr's. Smiling, he then figured out which part of the games they would start off in, and turned to them saying, "You two are going to sssstart off in the Trialssss de Fuego (OOC: Trials of Fire)...I hope that you have fun..." He then grinned at the two of them, showing a nice sparkling set of teeth. "Oh, and by the way," he continued. "I will be joining you guyssss in that area...as an ally..." he finished...

OOC: Hopefully by tonight I will have the two trial threads ready. Anyone else who wants to join can still join, but I will be placing you in either the Trials of Wind, or the Trials of Earth...just depends. Hope you all have fun!!!

Kellos grinned widely, almost child like with glee. Though the name of the trial he would face did not sound very pleasant, he did have a saurid on his team. He turned to the other man on his team, Piotr if he heard his name right, and slapped him on the back. "Well then!" he exclaimed, "As of now we are comrades, and will fight together! So, when does the trial start?"

"The Trialsssss will sssssstart early tomorrow morning..." said the Saurid. "My name issss Sssri'kal, Sargeant Sssri'kal...I will ssssee you tomorrow morning Kellossss..." he continued saying, and then he quickly slid in, "Meet me here tomorrow..." Then he turned around, and seemed to almost slither behind the desk, where he would then continue taking names and people for registration...

Ryuujin walk into the parlor and looked at all who were there. He knew most of them from other places. He did not know the saurid at the desk though. He walked up to the desk and picked up an application form.

This was all Ryuujin could think to write as no one had assigned him to a patrol yet

When Ryuujin had finished he passed the form back to the Saurid and thanked him.
