Arcana Tower of Illusion (Military Arcana Training)

Troops move to and from as they enter from patrols, and prepare for other duties that a soldier may have. The base of course having two towers thus far. One being the stoic, stout, and the ever important watch tower. It stretches high so the careful eye of the soldier may gaze over the city looking in haste for enemies. In fact most know where the base is at by merely looking up and spotting out the tower.

However, the second tower was often spoken about. When looking at the tower in the morning and especially when the suns set, for it has the strangest illusion. Indeed the tower giving off the rich colors of blue and silver much like the abestat uniform color. The tower has a spire like top that reaches for the sky. Of course this tower is not for looking out of, but rather to learn the trying arts of arcana. Here soldiers learn the arts of Sorcery, Mysticism, Druidism, elementalism, Song, and Thaumaturgy.

The interested soldier walking into the towers would be greeted by the bright blue and silver colors it gives off. Upon entering you see soldiers in much the same uniforms as any other. You can see an elf who is busy writing information down. Above him is a sign carefully written "Arcana Training Registration."

The elf had the military look about him with long brown hair. His uniform fitting him just right, and he was not easily disturbed as he made himself busy. Soon he notices that you have entered into the building, and did not recognize you as a registered arcana soldier. With a bold but also information seeking tone he asked "Can I help you?"

Corporal Yarrow Woodruff here... She pulled out her military ID to prove she didn't lie. Is this where I can get the training that I need for the military? She questioned him. She lightened up enough to give a faint smile...after all it wasn't every day that she got the training that she needed.

The elf looked at Yarrow, and observed her first before taking the ID. The elf nodded his head, and observed the Id and wrote the information on a separate piece of paper. He then searched for a like number in his directory. The box was very unique and straight forward. It had a knob that quickly turned a mechanism which in turn zipped through many files. Sure enough he found the Corpral's name. He took her folder out and smiled "Yes corporal your in the right spot. Any discipline you have in mind?"

As he said so he slipped a paper in front of her stating the selections of Sorcery, Druidism, Song, elementalism, Mysticism, and Thaumaturgy. The elf did not stare, but waited patiently as yarrow thought over her options.

Could you give me a run down of these, please? I wish to know what I am getting myself into... She asked him, looking over her list of choices slowly. And can I take more then one or no? There were many questions she wished to be answered, but had decided to ask only the basics.

The Elf smiled as he nodded his head. Indeed, he has heard these questions before. The Elf sat straight then went carefully over the arts "view the arts as their own seperate planes. Each having the depths and traits that make them what they are. To anwser your question you can only learn one at a given time. Most never do one then try another because it simply takes someone there life in order to reach maxium level in that art. So you can only learn one art at a time. "

He took in a breath of patience and then proceeded to explain "Elementalism is the use of the elements. The ones that make up wind, fire, lightening those sorts of things...the elements are very destructive. Song is the use of voice and instruments, but also with arcana to bestow a curse or blessing on a person or group of people. Sorcery is the art of using force, time, and deminsions many warriors have been know to go with this art. Druidism is the art that deals with creation...nature basically its a very resourceful art. Mysticism mostly deals with the mind of people..a very mind boggeling art yet powerful in different ways. Thaumtargy of course is the holy art that I have always veiwed to be the counter to Necromancy...it is however like the other and is powerful in its light. Each has their unique prospective...that help any ?

OOC: Ok Arcana choice is important when you make your decision stick with it so be sure thats what you want. Here is the thread that explains these guys in better detail. Read them and see their spells and see which kind of fits your PC the best and interests. This helps me very much...thank you. As he explained each topic she remembered a thing of past. When she had first left her home and traveled to Alleria she had gone to see where she could get training, such as this. She had looked toward Druidism, but had found that in the city she had come to, they weren't teaching anymore.

I think I have made my decision...put me down for Druidism, please! She declared, flashing a smile. She was on her road to learning, the thing she loved to do best.

ooc: I believe you can only be in two "training" threads at one time, is that correct? I believe I also need to put Yarrow threw some weapon training!

Hey and np about the spelling and what not...I am probably worse then you are!!!!

Ryuujin walked into the tower looking a little lost. He wasnt used to this arcana stuff, but if he wanted to be a ranger then he had to know some and elementalism seemed like a good one. "I was wondering about a teacher for elementalism. Could you point me in the right direction?" Ryuujin asked the clerk.

OOC: Ryuujin are you goona learn the bow first or Intiate elementalism or the axe? Your choice but one can only do one. One war thread and one thread of peace can be done at the same time. Arcana and Bow and axe is war training. So pick and let me know which first. Thanks!

Never had Kyli imagined that she would be getting training in magic. But here she was, much to her disbelief, in the recently opened arcana tower, preparing to sign herself up to learn more about Druidism. It made sense, really. Kyli loved animals and nature and she figured it would be the easiest for her to learn, or at least the most enjoyable.

"Yes, you may help me," Kyli said with a wide, bright smile, exposing a missing canine tooth. "I was wondering if I could sign up for a class in Druidism?"

Kelllos was truly entranced by the colors around him. It was intruiging magic, and it made him even more eager to learn the ways arcana. He approached the elf, and bowed his greeting. "Serale, brother. Private Kellos Vastak present." He said as he extended his ID. "I would like to recieve some training in arcana, mostly in the arts of healing. A warrior can never be too careful."

The elf slowly looked up at Kellos as though in a bad mood today. Serale, brother. Private Kellos Vastak present the elf rolled his eyes "yes I can see you are present private." the elf then took a breath "Well if you were careful in the first place you would not need healing now would you ?" Kind of true in a different way of viewing things.

The elf then took down Kellos's profile and entered a few logs, and continued. The elf then pushed himself to be some what more unrude "there are two Arcana disciplines that deal the most with healing. Thats Thermatargy or Druidism. Which do you chose. Although be sure about the one you learn as it is the one you will spend the rest of your life with."

The elf then relaxed and waited for Kellos to choose....

Walking into the military tower, Keeva intermittently found herself saluting the odd soldier or guard that stood on duty or just happened to pass by. Sometimes being a part of the military worked to put a nice strain on the hands, something that the young woman did not overly relish.

Walking up to the elf who stood under the 'Arcana Training Registration' sign, Keeva hastened to voice her query to the man, after carrying out another of those all-too-trying salutes.

'Serale, sir. I'm Lance Corporal Keeva Lasant, and I was wondering if I would be able to obtain some training in the Sphere of Mysticism?'
