Military Base Main Gates
Nestled in the walls that separated the base from the rest of the city, there was only one entrance to the military base, and this was it. The gates had been the last thing that had been built after the orcish invasion that led the base to being constructed, and now they finally stood complete.
They consisted of two double doors, of wooden construct that had been hardened for protection from whatever may threaten the city. Not only was the walled off section of the town built to house the army, but it was a last stand, of sorts, a place for people to flee to if the rest of the city was ever breached. Two small guard towers had been built on either side of the gates, accessible only from the inside of the base on ground floor, or through the rampart that snaked it's way all over the top of the base wall. Arrow slits were visible in the stone walls, though they currently looked vacant of any weapons.
The gates stood open, but guards were checking people over carefully before letting them into the base itself, and generally, no one was let in without a military ID of some sort or some note of authority if they were seeking to see an officer.
One such guard was a Human man, very young in his adulthood and imposing in his prime. Brown, curly hair, tidy and kept clean all the time, oddly speckled with shades of hazel at some places, his eyes were ever alert. He was no slouching guard - he always took his duty to heart, and his tall stature made sure he was a beacon any of the other lazing, dozing people within the military. That guard was an Olympian Human by the name of Agaenos Phidion.
Anyone who approached, he would waste no time at all in checking their identification papers. At least, unlike guards in the main city gates, he was not bad-tempered. At all. Something that was somehow quite rare for person having to guard a static place from Brightening to Darkening...

Hour 14 of Lunaria, Brightening 10 of the First Cycle of Kalendryas
Winter of Era 2 of the Celestine Mandate
Era XI Post Fractum in the Age of the Darkening, the Mageocracy of Julos the Mad
Paradgim: Undead Attack Zerdargia
A young human approached the gates of the Military Base. He was wearing a grey cloak with the hood over his head. Beneath you could see a shirt, his brown cloth pants, and his brown boots. He walk with a pride with his head held high and shoulders back, it was almost like he just going to walk right in. But he then stopped at the gate and told the man standing in front of the gates, "I am here to join the Military here in my hometown of Abestat. My name is Nax Atacath. If you are not hiring at the moment I will come back another day." He pauses a moment, "But I will join no matter how long it takes. I want to serve here and keep the people safe!" Nax then waits for the guard to reply.

"Brother! Wait for me!" Orokoth yelled as he ran toward Nax, his arms waving in the air and breath quick, "You lost me back there...Didn't you hear me calling your name?" The panting young man noticed his brother talking to the guard, "Serale! I hope Nax hasn't bored you...Anywho, Brother, we should post-pone this tomfoolery for now and head south! I’m sure we can find more fun stuff to do! Anywho…I’m leaving with or without you,” and with that he turned on his heel and started walking toward the Aedile’s Office.

Nax looked at his brother as he talked to him. Then as Orokoth turn around Nax exclaimed, "Brother, wait for me!" He then turns back to the guard on duty and states, "Sorry for wasting your time. But we have business else where." With that he turned to follow his brother.

Tenshin approached the gate, he looked from under his straw hat at the gates in front of him, it amazed him, the sight was definitely something, he approached the guard and stopped a good 5ft. from him, not wanting to antagonize a man so big.
"Excuse me, I've came to join the military here, where can I find the recruiters office,"Tenshin asked curiously.

The guard smiled and pointed to a building a slight distance off. A deep bass voice bellowed at the man.
" There it is, over there. Staff Sergeant Silverwind's Office. Way to go, we need more people like you. The military is always in need of talented soldiers."
The man smiled a large toothy smile, which almost gave Tenshin the creeps, and waved him on. " Carry on."

Tenshin smiled back as he slightly bowed his head, not wanting to take his eyes off such an ox of a man,"Thank you for your assistance,"Tenshin said as he hurried along.

Timestamp: 7th Brighting of Optia of Era I
(Continued from Tread Talarin's Home)
Talarin approached the Main Gates to the Military Base and with Yarrow's instructions it was fairly easy to find.
He approached one of the guards and stated "I have been sent by Capitan Yarrow Woodruff as a recruit" He showed them the note for the Quartermaster which showed that Capitan Yarrow had indeed sent him.
Seen that that note was accepted he replaced the note in his pocket and asked "so which way to the administrations office so that I may make it official?"
Talarin saw where they directed and started to head in that direction.

Timestamp: First Brightening of the Last Cycle of Fall, etc., etc., you figure it out.
The royal colors of the Imperial Guard flashed nicely on his uniform as he stepped up to the gate. The elf inside said uniform grinned widely. It had been some time since he had seen Sheng, but many things had changed since they last spoke. Last time, Motito had just achieved the power of Master, and was taking a break from military life.
Now, however, he was back, and in force. Sheng had been the Commander of Prime Military when Motito had signed up as a Private. Thanks to a newly re-opening branch of the military, the Mage Corps, Tito had been fast-tracked to just under Sheng's rank in no time. Now, though, he was stepping forward to talk with Sheng as something he'd never before been: His superior.
It was an odd feeling, outranking the man who led an entire legion when he'd first enlisted, but such was life, in all it's peculiarities.
Major General Motito Gil'dae approached the guards, his rank and medals flashing. He had been through many battles, seen much combat, and was probably one of the most experienced military officers found.
"Serale," He commented to the guards as he approached. His business with Sheng was to find out numbers. He wanted to know how many magi Sheng had under his command, and of what rank and sphere they were. He had just recenetly been appointed Imperial Mage Corps Commander by the Empress herself, and as such, was in charge of magi empire-wide.
"I'm here to speak with Lieutenant General Sheng, as well as whoever is in command of the Mage Corps here." If it was necessary, he removed his Visa and military ID from his pouch, handing it to the guards to verify his rank, position, and identification.

Timestamp: The Season of Winter of Era I of the Pax Imperialis (Current pattern) Era III of the Celestine Mandate (Previous Pattern) Era XII Post Fractum in the Age of the Darkening.
Paradigm Shift: Alleria Prime Opens and the new Empire is revealed as Audrey adresses the peoples.
Two lines of wagons and soldiers slowly trailed pass through the gate. The reason for this movement was known by most in the Base. The Headquarters of the Prinvincial Command for the Imperial Army was moving back to Alleria Prime. Those that wish to see the order could go the office door of Lieutenant General Sheng Kaldres to see the one paste there.
However, the not all were leaving Abestat. Lieutenant General Sheng had left a number of soldiers in the Base, just enough to maintain the appearance of a presence in Abestat....
In less than three hours the most of the wagons and soldiers had passed through the gate. There were not much soldiers in Abesta in the first place....
