Recruitment for the Templar of Steel

Dundridge sits on a bench, wearing his guild uniform. The uniform is white, with a mounted Knight on the front of it. He has a small sign sitting next to him stating "The Templar of Steel are now recruiting." He sits patiently, hoping someone will stop and ask him about the Guild he helped create. As he waits' he takes an apple from his bag and starts to eat it.

As Jucle Magik was walking to the bar for a glass of water, he realized a man sitting on a bench on his left. There is a sign next to the man. He reads "The Templar of Steel are now recruiting." Jucle became intrested and walked over to the man. "Hello Sir. I am Jucle Magik. I am supposing that this sign belongs to you, so...what is the art that is being performed in this guild?" Jucle asked the man sitting on the bench with an apple in his hand.

Dundridge chuckles. "I am Dundridge. We do not practice an art. We help those of the peole who are in good standing with the law. Our guild is a guild of warriors and diplomats. We fight evil, and defend the innocent." He pauses waiting for the mans reaction.

Aerge passes into hearing range and sees the strangers talking. He hears the conversation and decides to take part.
"And who decides what is evil, and whom is innocent? Not your diplomats, I hope? Diplomats simply connive for their one good and to fill their own pockets from the shortcomings of others. Or maybe your warriors? Many of whom probably kill whomever they wish if they are made angry. Hah! Your ideals are great, but not practical. You try to save, when all you will do is judge who is naive or not, for innocence is rare, and mostly naivete. The innocent you say, but the only innocents are those who do not know what is going on, or those who try to hide from the truth. Evil, says you. But what is evil if not only an opinion opposite of yours? You attempt the impossible." Aerge sneered at the obvious flaws in this mans logic and his goals.

Dundridge chuckles. "What is evil, you ask? Those who set themselves beyond the laws of man and the gods. Who are the innocent? Those who cannot defend themselves according to the laws of man and the gods. And our warriors and diplomats do as ordered, again, within the laws of man and the gods. We do not seek personal enrichment, but spiritual enrichment! If you say that is impossible, then the world is doomed."

Aerge pondered for a moment at the response.
"Hm, your answer seems sincere, and your intentions pure. But only time will tell."
Aerge began walking back into the crowds, but then he turned and said over his shoulder, "We may meet again, but that has not been decided, only the Gods know this. But as time goes, and the Gods will comes to pass, I may come to join you, but now is not the time." Aerge then continued into the crowd and disappeared from sight.

OOC: If you hope to recruit, you may want to put the idea of payment, adventure, glory, and the like in to that, it might work just a tad bit better.

Aerge made his way through the crowd and again came to the recruitment station.
"Serale, good sir Dundridge. It is a fine morning, is it not? By the way, how much does membership in the Tamplar of Steel cost? Ah, and here." Aerge had been looking at the now eaten apple in Dundridge's hand, and decided that Dundridge might still be hungry. Aerge reached behind him into his pack, where he kept his own food. His hand came back with another apple in it. He tossed one to Dundridge. "That one seems to have worn out its usefulness."

"Jucle, if you wish to join, come to Zerdargia with me." Aerge began to walk toward the gates, expecting Jucle to follow if he was going to join.

IC: Dundridge looks at the core in his hand and puts it in his bag. He chuckles, having been caught in a trance. "The entry fee is 200 crowns." He nods. "And the adventures will be all you can take."

The attendent smiles as if he has just been caught in a trance and opens his mouth to speak.
