~ Moon Spirit Bathhouse ~

Dimly lit, peaceful notes of a woodwind instruments floated over the air. The interior of Moon Spirit Bathhouse was laid out in a circular fashion, in such a way as to allow its customers to wander throughout the establishment. Rooms were grouped together, as were the lockers. A key was always provided, attached to a leather thong with a sliding knot that easily allowed the wearer to tighten it around an ankle or a wrist.

The open maws of stone lions offered showers, and circular pools with tiers of steps for lounging. Bathing was ritualized in Moon Spirit, becoming an art - of cleansing sands, hot water, hot air in dark vaulted vapor baths, a cooling plunge, a rubdown with aromatic oils. Some areas gave away to paths and expertly planted flora to stimulate something of a soothing forest theme that offered bright splashes of flowers, rich vivid flowering moss, draping ferns and other such things. Along the paths were padded benches tucked away in alcoves of stone and rose vines.

But before one could enjoy such amenities, they first had to pass by the receptionist’s desk, which was a young Elf female of mixed descent who answered to the name of Mia. A list of goods and services had been laid casually on the oak desk for the viewer’s ease. The proprietor of the Moon Spirit Bathhouse was a well off wealthy middle aged woman who was widowed and sought the opportunity to rake in a sizable non-taxable profit for the Era who went by the name of Idona Faithblade. Come to think of it, the two did look related - but it was not advertised.

Hermit’s Bath Service (2 Crowns) – A locker and key provided, access to the main bath. Towels, soap, and shampoo.
Basic Bath Service (4 Crowns) – A locker and key provided, access to the main bath, a vapor bath, and then a cold plunge. Towels, soap, and shampoo provided.
Knight’s Bath Service (8 Crowns) – A locker and key provided, access to the main bath, a rubdown with sea salts, hot bath, and the cold plunge. Towels, salt, and shampoo provided.
Luxurious Bath Service (12 Crowns) – A locker and key provided, access to the main bath, vapor bath, the cold plunge, a rubdown with either oils or lotion, and a screen for dressing. Towels, soap, shampoo, and oil/lotion provided.
Private Room (15 Crowns) – A private bathing room to rent, equipped with a rack of warm towels, a basket of assorted soap and shampoo, a main bath, and a hot bath.
Aromatic Oils or Lotion (4 Silvers a Vial) - Offered in: Lavender, Rose, Peppermint, Ginger, and Eucalyptus.
