A Dragon Pendant?

The library had become his best friend, as he was there almost everyday. There was so much information that those books contained, and he would not rest until he knew everything he needed. A few days ago he stumbled upon a dragon pendant in a book he had been reading. It was described in great detail, but the book had no information on what it did. Once he finished that book, he eagerly looked for any other book that might have mentioned the pendant. Unfortunately, he found nothing else in the library that spoke of the unique piece. That was his last time in that library.

"Someone in this town must know where this pendant can be found." Runedas mumbled to himself as he walked through the town. It had become one of his favorite things to do as he thought about what he would do next. He knew that talking to a dragon was next on his list, and he thought the dragon pendant he had read about might be the answer. The only problem to him was tracking it down. He had no idea where to start or even who to ask. Soon, he found himself standing at first step leading to the library. He took a seat and thought about how he could go about learning of that pendant. Just as he started to lose confidence a merchant walked by, talking with a person. Runedas had not paid them any mind, until the mention of a unique pendant came up. "Unbelievable!! What luck! I'll just ask this merchant if he knows about the dragon pendant. He may even know what it does!" Without missing a beat, he stood up and headed straight for the merchant. "Good day merchant." Runedas said as he approached the man. "Excuse me for eavesdropping but that pendant you were just talking about? Could it have been the dragon pendant I have read about?" The merchant eyed him suspiciously before he opened his mouth. "Who are you to just come over and demand answers from me?" The dracon knew that he was a little too fast, approaching a guy out of no where. "My apologies merchant. You see I've been reading about this pendant and more than anything I would love to track it down. I think it may help me get something that I need." The merchant looked at him again, this time, with a look of understanding. "I see. Well to tell you the truth, young dracon, we were not talking about the dragon pendant. But I do know of the pendant you speak of. There is a town not too far from here where you could probabaly get more information about it. I'm to be heading that way at sunset. If you would like to keep me company, you will be more than welcome to travel with me." This seemed to be the winged creature's lucky day. "It looks like this is my next step huh?" He thought to himself as he nodded his head at the merchant. "Just one question. What town will we be traveling to?" Runedas figured it didn't matter, but still, he wanted to know where he was going. The merchant laugh a little bit and responded, "Well, the first thing on my list is to stop in Arakmat. Then we'll be off to Acumin."
