Finth's Animal Shop

[Advocate]

Finth's Animal Shop is a large store in the woods. A long path winds its way through the forest to the shop. Dust fills the air as one takes steps in the dirt. Trees densely line the path on either side. The walk is not to long, but when the sun shines there is nothing to protect one from its heat. About half way down the path a tree is fallen across the path. The air smells freshly of pine and flowers. Finally the path comes the a house. The house is surrounded by trees. The house has little environmental impact by the shop. The store is two levels big, has a dog breeding kennel where Finth breeds his own dogs, and a small stable for horses.

As one enters the shop they see the giant Finth caring for his animals. He rushs about cleaning the cages, feeding the animals, and giving the animals baths. When he sees some one has entered, he says, "Serale, take a look around and find what you need. When you are ready, please come and find me."

Teora walked into the local animal shop looking for two things one a riding pony and two a job. So walking into the store while thinking those words she felt very confident of herself. Teora browsed around decided what she wanted and then walked up to the counter. She said to the man " Can I get a riding pony and the things you need to be able to ride it, also are you looking for somebody to work with you because I am in need of a job.

Finth didn't stop doing his work when that elf asked for a riding pony and a job. He kept working while thinking about the order. "Ahhh, what quality o steed would ya be likin. Oi think oi could be givin yous a job, but trusts in oi mis. It gonna bes hard work." the giant explained. He went about his cleaning, almost not paying attention to the elf, but he was.

Teora thought a moment about what quality steed she wanted then finally said to the giant " I would like a pretty nice quality steed not perfect but not bad, also how hard of work are we talking here something like cleaning cages or walking the animals what kind of hard work?

[Advocate]

Finth stopped his work and stood up to his full heighth. He set down the bag of food he had been carrying and started walking out the front door. He motioned for the elf to follow him. He traveled down the steps in one giant step that was a normal stide for a man of his size. For a giant, he wasn't to big. More in the middle of the size range.

With the same long steps he used to traverse the steps, he went down a path to the right. It would be hard for the elf to keep up with his great steps. She would probably have to run or jog to keep up. The giant finally made it to the stable where he opened the gate and went inside. "You be in luck, oi jus be gettin a pony tha yous bes lookin fer." He pulled a pony on a tether out of one of the small houses. Then he looked at his stable keeper and said, "Get this horse ready ta be leavein, thans Rincar." The giant looked back at the elf and said, "Tha be Rincar. Me stable keeper. Oi be knowin notin about the horsees."

The giant went back the same path he had come. Not waiting to see if the elf was following. He went inside and and gathered a bit and bridle, a riding saddle, feeding bag and a harness, and a saddle bag. "This be what yous be needin. Your total be comin ta 227 crowns."

[Teora Kimish]

Teora practically had to run to keep up with the giant so by the time he got to the stable she was still 15 feet away and panting like a dog. By the time she got to the stable she felt like she was going to fall over and die. She was afraid the giant would think she was way out of shape. Teora stared at the horse blankly shifted her head a couple times then she got down on her knees to inspect the pony from head to tail she made a few noises like mmmmmm and ooooooo.

She thought for a moment about it then said " I'll take her ." Then Teora took out her purse and gave the giant 227 crowns.

OOC I think you should read the post more carefully next time. I think you missed something.


IC Finth took the crowns and shoved his large had into his pocket. He pulled his hand out and the coins were gone. Finth gave the items to the elf. "A fer de jo. Mes be thikin tha me can't be givin yous a jo, sorr." With that the giant went about his work. As if the elf wasn't even there. Then he said, "Oi, yous can be getin yours horse froms tha stableman, Rincar."

Teora ran over to the man named Rincar she waited a moment and then said " Thank-you" she carefully took the pony from Rincar Bid a farewell to Finth and then left.

[Argon Gruven]

Argon looked around the store looking at all these various animals that were in there. As he looked he saw dogs and cats and then he saw something that caught his eye. He turned around to find a falcon. It was a beautiful sight...his feathers shone in the dim light of the store. Then Argon walked up to the Finth, "I would like that falcon right over there," Argon said pointing to the falcon which had caught his eye, "and give me three cycles worth of food also."

OOC: No whare does it say that there is a black falcon about in this thread, that I have seen. You've probibly already been told what a bunny is, and that is just an example of it, please don't bunny in a thread of mine again, you might get mamed.

IC: When the Sprite pointed at the falcon Finth turned to see which one he ment, but of cource Finth saw only a blank wall. It was an ordinary brick wall, and there were no shadows on it that could have made him think there was a falcon there. Finth turned and look at the Sprite with a quizzicle look on his face.

"I don't see any falcon over there, perhaps you mean over here?," Finth turned the Sprite around and pointed at the wall opposite of the previos one. On this wall there were several cages and purches made for the felcons, hawks, and other such birds. Of the felcons there was one that was mosly Raven black but it was speckeled all over with a brilliant white and brown. Each feather on it's wings and tails were tipped with a ting of dark grey that ran up one side or the other. It's long yellowish beak ran smoothly into the face of the bird, which ended with a crest of feathers that were similer to that of it's tail and wings.

"Whats what we have of falcons right now, if you want I can send out some people to catch you one that is different from the ones there," Finth explained.

OOC2: There are other felcons there, that is just the one that sticks closest to what you put you wanted, pure black.

[Argon Gruven]

Argon looked to where the finth was pointing."Yes that is precisely the one I want," Argon said with a brilliant smile across his features. Then as Argon stood there waiting for a response, he once again browsed the shop looking at the wildlife that lay before him. Wow! Argon said to himself as he looked at one of the hawks he walked past. Then Argon made his way back the falcon in which he had wanted. He stared so intently at the poor creature that it seemed as though Argon was piecing through the humid air that filled the shop.

As he stared at the falcon it seemed as though the falcon was staring back at him. Does he understand me Argon asked himself in his head. Then Argon turned his focus back at the finth.

Finth looked once again at the wall and saw which one that Argon had pointed out. "Ahh, excilient choice. Now, this Falcon is rarer then the others, so that raises the price a little bit. It will cost you 700 crowns for the falcon, and 30 crowns for the feed. Makeing your total 730 crowns." Finth went over to the cage and put his arm next to the falcons purch and it steped onto his arm, which had a leather protector on it. Finth then turned with the falcon on his arm towards the sprite, and he started to extend the arm that the felcon was on and he lept off and lended on the sprites shoulder with a tight squeeze.

The preasure and the sharp talons broke the skin in the shoulder and drew a little blood. Not enough to be detrimental to Argon's health.

[Argon Gruven]

Argon watched as the finth walked over to the cage and took out the Falcon in which he had pointed to. Then when the finth put the Falcon on his arm and then had it leap to Argon's shoulder its talons dug into Argon's skin and Argon couldn't help but let out a low squill of pain and then the pain passed. Argon then turned his attention to the falcon which he would soon own. Knowing this put a childish grin on his face as he looked at the fine specimen.
"Ah,," Argon said as the lad told him the price of his purchases, "that shall be good. Here's your 730 crowns," Argon said while getting the crowns out of his blue pouch. Argon then gently patted his new companion on the back and the Falcon gave a little squill of liking. There was no hiding that Argon loved his new friend and as Argon headed towards the door he turned around and gave the lad that had been so helpful to him a friendly wink and a smile.

When Argon walked out of the store a strong gust of fresh air hit his body and cooled him, fore he had been drawing sweat all across his face while he was in the store and the wind was refreshing and seemed to revitalize him. Then he continued on his way down the path in which he had come down and tried to think of a name for his new acquaintance that sat perched on his shoulder.
