Sylvan Hermitage (Paul Tyndal)
When the half-elf Paul Tyndal's eyes next opened, he found himself in a quaint hut made of apparently all natural materials. Thin logs made up the walls, stacked next to each other in a pallisade formation, a combination of bark, moss, and leaves made up the roof, and more moss was at intervals on the outside of the walls, covering up cracks and offering some protection from the elements. The floor was natural dirt. The room he was in was small, but it didn't seem to be the only one of the hut. Paul leaned up and noticed he was in a bed. The mattress was a bit firm, but who really needed a soft, cushy sleeping space on Arios? Various hebs hung by strings from the ceiling, and there was a cabinet on the far side of the room with a granite mortar and pestle on top. Otherwise, the room was fairly empty, though a pleasant scent wafted into the room from the next. Something was cooking.
For a few minutes Paul laid down, his wounds still felt. Shortly, a young woman came into the room, her moccasins softly pattering on the earthen floor. "There you are," she remarked softly. "It's not every brightening you see someone awaken on this isle." The woman had graceful features, dark hair and smooth skin, but her figure was not a pole-like slender build like one would have expected. Appearing a bit too fleshed-out to be an elf, she seemed to have some muscle on her, perhaps from her life out here in the wilderness. It takes more than just a housewife to live out like that, of course.
"My name is Darinica," she introduced herself, stopping a few steps from Tyndal's bed. "And who do I have the pleasure of seeing awake comatose in my home, mm?" The question was a bit teasing, but sounded playful enough.

Swiveling his head about as he awoke, he took in the room in which he now laid. He was in a small hut from the looks of it, one that was built entirely out of natural materials. He assumed that, were he to look outside, he would see nothing but forest in every direction. Shrugging, he found nothing wrong with his seclusion. He had never planned to run away anyways, and hadn't this been what he had wanted all the time? Looking down, he was suprised to see that he lay in a bed. "Who has a bed on Arios?" he thought, but then he realized that people from the mainland would probably have built a bed if, for nothing else, the memory of lands once lived in. Even though it was a bit too firm for Paul's liking, he was content to lay down and rest and was just about to see if one could will oneself to sleep when a woman walked into the room in which Paul now resided.
Sitting up suddenly at the appearance of the woman, Paul winced in pain at the shock that his sudden movement brought throughout his body. "Well, I'm still wounded," he thought as the pain subsided. Turning towards the woman, slower this time in order to avoid the pain, he smiled at her. She was a pretty figure, and even though she was a bit too fair to be a human, she did not appear to be an elf either. "Maybe a half breed like me," he wondered, idly, not that it would matter in his judgement of her. Being a half breed had taught him to accept all races equally unless there was a specific reason not too.
After she had introduced herself in a taunting but playful tone, he reached out his hand to shake hers, and said, "My name is Paul Tyndal, and the pleasure's all mine. Might I ask where I am?" He sat there, smiling pleasantly up at the woman, and waited for an answer.

OOC: Hi I will take over yours thread. PM if you have any problems regarding this thread.
"Glad to met you Paul "- she said and smiled back at him." You are at my fathers house. He was the one who took care of yours wounds. I see that you are feeling much better and probably you must be hungry as wolf right now. She got up and run to the kitchen. Paul was left sitting on the bed and looking in her direction. After a couple of seconds he heard her voice from other room “Come on, I will not bring food to you, if you wanna eat come here. If you will behave I might answer couple of yours questions.”
