Looking for Elementalism training

Argon had been searching the streets and asking everyone he passed along the way hoping to find someone who could teach him in Elementalism or direct him to a place where he could learn it. He had been walking the worn streets for three brightenings from sun up to sun down going into stores and shoppes. Each time getting the same ackward look from the individuals he asked. It was getting very frustrating and Argon thought about stopping but decided that eventually he would come across someone that might be able to help him, so he persisted on.

On the fourth brightening he was tired from walking and went to the nearest building to get out of the sun which was lighting the barin landscape and to relax and clear his mind. He was becoming even more impatient and thought about leaving to go some place else and hopefully find training there, but figured it be best if he stayed here and continued looking. Then he headed to where he was staying for the night.

At sunup he was back out searching and walking around the city waiting for someone to help him.

OOC: ok dude, that was a big mass of bunnies, but leave it as it is.

IC: On the fith brightening of Argons search is started to storm on an off all day long, and between the wetness of the rain and the cold biteing of the wind Argon was rather cold and shivering. As he wondered around he started to develop of cough and a sniffle. Argon should realy get into some dry cloths and get warmed up. Perhaps some warm soup from the inn would do him good.

After quite some time Argon was rather cold and decided that he should go to the inn to get something warm to eat. As he headed for the inn he thought about changing his clothes and decided against it. Fore he only had two sets of clothes and decided that he would need at least one of them to keep dry. Then he reached the inn and went inside to warm up and take a break. "Aachuu!" Argon sneezed as he walked into the inn.

A barmaiden looked over at him as he entered the inn, seemingly announcing himself with a sneeze. She ushured him over to a table and said, "Serale sir, what might I get you today? And if you don't mind my asking, why were you out in such weather, don't you know that can make you deathly ill? Perhaps you'd like some of our house specialty, it's a soup thats just bound to make you feel healthy again! After all, that is what it was made for."

"That sounds heavenly, and that's what I shall have." Argon said anxious to get the soup that sounded so good. "And I was out there searching for training in the Elementalism sphere," Argon continued as he answer the barmaiden's questions. Then he looked back out the door at which he had entered and wondered the same question in which she had asked ...why was i out there... he said in a serious tone. Then he looked back at the maiden.

"So how has your brightening been," Argon asked trying to show some manners. Then he turned again to the door and waited for the barmaiden to respond.

"Alright sir, that will cost you 15 crowns," The bar maiden replied studiusly, "My brightening as been just fine, I'll go get you your soup." With that the maiden was off with out enough time for Argon to reply.

While she was off takeing care of that a man dressed in long, dark green clothing; from his trousers, to his cloak. Even his eyes were green, a vibrant green at that. His hair was short kept, brought back to be kept out of the eyes, and was a rich, thick, brown. The man looked extremely well educated, and didn't seem like he entended any harm.

"Serale Sir, please excuse my ineruption," The stranger greated, "But did you say you were looking for training in Elementalism?" The voice was young and strong, but it was also weathered and wise.

After the barmaiden had told him the price of his soup he reached for his pocket that contained a pouch. His pouch was blue and it contained all his crowns. 1,2,3,4... Argon went on as he counted out 15 crowns to himself as he awaited her return. Then a figure approached and startled Argon as he began to speak. "Yes, that is precisely what I said...fore I have been looking for quite some time now," Argon spoke in response to the man's question. As he said this Argon turned around and looked at the man. He was dressed in the color green and he appeared very educated. Now Argon was not sure, but by looking at the man he also appeared to be weathly as well.

"I can offer you lessons, for 350 crowns," Said the man before him, "Do you comprehend things well, have you been released, what patron do you fallow?"

About this time the bar maiden came back and put down the soup and collected the crowns that were left on the counter, then she noticed the man in green, as he sat down near Argon. "Oh, I didn't know you were going to have company. I'm sorry sir, is there anything I can get you?" She asked, turning to the teacher.

"That shall be great...and 350 crowns will be perfect," Argon said to the man standing in front him. Fore Argon couldn't believe what was happening and was very excited to get started. Then he looked at his soup and eagerly began eating it. "Oh...I am so sorry. Eating my food in front of you like this, I seem to have lost my manners. So...about the training, when shall I start and where," Argon asked hoping that he could start soon.

Then he looked back at the soup and it looked very appitizing, but Argon managed to hold back and hoped that the maiden would come back soon with something for the man to eat.

"No thank you," The man said to the maiden then he turned his emerald eyes towards the student at hand, "Continue eating your soup. When you are done you will want to go home and get some rest. We will start tomarow, and you will want all the energy you can get."

The man got up and gave a curt bow to the bar maiden, then he turned back to the sprite, "Meet me outside of this Inn tomarow morning and I will bring you to your education. At the rise of the first sun, if you do not show then you will never get any training in elementalism in Arios again."

"Thank you sir, I shall be there ready to go," Argon said with a brilliant smile on his face. This is what I've be looking for for such a while... Argon said to himself and he began to hastely gulp down his soup. It was warm and was delious, especially since the conditions in which he had spent his brightening. Argon could not wait for his first leason to begin and wished that he could just go up to his room and fall asleep right then and there just to awake for the training that ly ahead.

When Argon finished his soup he looked up to find the maiden and then put 5 crowns upon the bar in which he had been eating so vigorously just minutes ago. "Thank you," Argon said to the maiden as he walked off to his room where he would spend the remaining portion of the brightening.

~~~~~~~~
The next brightening
The sun was barely over the canopy of trees that canopyed over the forest floor of Arios when Argon woke up for the training in which he was suppost to recieve. He put on his travelers garb and cloat in a hurriedly fashon so as not to be late. When Argon had got all his clothes on he walked over to the front door of the inn. When he got outside there was nothing else he could do but wait, and wait he did.
While Argon waited the sun shifted above his head, and then the second sun was up. Still the elementalist hadent shown his face, the second sun shifted and as the third sun started to rise a long shadow could be seen at Argons feet.
"Your probibly quite annoyed by my absence," the nameless figure offered, and Argon was, "But it is your first part of your lesson, a test in patience. It may take you a very long time for you to learn how to acheive your first spell, and the same may go for your last spell. You will need alot of pacience, and to keep this pacience up in you I may very likely do this to you again. Now fallow me."
The elemtalist teacher bolted off towards the near by woods.
OOC: Gonna make a new thread for the training it's self.
As Argon waited he had become very annoyed and aggetated, but waited patiently so as not to waste the oppertunity that laid before him. When the nameless man showed up Argon felt a sigh of relief released from him and then he looked at the man waiting to see waht he had to say. Ok Argon thought to himself it was only a test.... Then he eagerly followed him to where ever he was taking him hoping that he would finally be able to start his first set of training.
OOC: I’ll be taking on this thread with GM Trinity’s permission. If at any point you have a question about what has been posted, feel free to send me a PM.
Bolted was the right word for the man garbed in green ran at a fair pace away from the inn towards the high trees of the woods that stood a hundred yards away, his cloak snapping behind him. Why there was a need to run was beyond any comprehension except perhaps that the Mage felt a modicum of guilt for arriving so late and was hoping to not waste any further time through the rather mundane mode of travel which is walking. Every now and then he glanced over his shoulder to see if his sprite-student was keeping apace and satisfied, continued onwards to enter the woods.
Slowing his pace, for the going was more difficult with trees and roots to negotiate, Argon’s tutor finally fell to a walking pace as they arrived at their destination – a clearing by a small stream that would eventually meander down to the shores. Taking off his green cloak, the Mage laid it on the sandy earth, spreading it wide, before sitting cross-legged on its surface. He appeared a little out of breath but smiled politely at the sprite.
“Well now we are here, we can begin. Perhaps introductions though are required first though. I’m Robert Verre, Master Elementalist originally from Medonia although Arios has been my home for the last eight patterns. And yourself, sir, who might you be and why do you feel the draw towards the sphere of Elementalism?”
OOC: I can't thank you enough!
IC: Argon sat up against the wall and then he saw the man start running, looking as if he was aimed at the woods. Though Argon wasn't sure, he figured he was to follow him and so he took off after him. Then they made there way into the woods and he slowed to the walking pace. What a nice brightening, and forest... Argon thought to himself as he looked at his surroundings and the pot-a-dots of light from the sun that shone through the canopy of leaves above him.
As Argon again looked at the man he saw him take off his cloak and sit on it. Then the mage began to talk and Argon couldn't help but to admire the man. It was obvious that this man had trained for patterns to learn what was incompassed in his brain. And now he's taking up his own precious time...to teach me Argon thought to himself. When the mage had finished Argon began, " Well my name is Argon Gruven, and I have always had a special...well a special thing for the wonderful elements. Although I know that they can cause great distruction, I have always seemed to be drawn to them. They seem to be my calling, so to speak."
Argon had always known how much he loved the elements and their sheer power, but as he spoke about it he finally realized how much he really wanted to enchant his mind with the tinkles of Elementalism. As he thought he realized...actually confirmed a previous thought. This was his calling
