[Location] The Fae Fall
The Fae Fall
A Fae-Folk haven

Go a candlemark and a half North-East of the town of Arios through the forest and take the little worn path and you will reach one of the most beautiful sights that the island has to offer. The walk is full of hills and small cliffs that must be climbed but many people make this trip just to sit and gaze at the waterfall and the fae folk going on about their business around it.
You'll know you're approaching the Falls when you begin to hear windchimes of all kinds, mostly made of hollow branches. The windchimes don't make the usual metallic sound, but rather lovely deeper sound that seems to comfort people. There are other kinds of wind instruments all around the falls, hanging from the trees and making sounds, but there is no singing to be heard, even though it might be suitable for the environment.
The Fae Fall and it's surroundings are highly magical, which somehow seems to attract the Faes of all subraces to it. Some believe that it is because Kalendryas has blessed this place herself and that the fae-folk worship her here.
Time has little meaning here and one could sit for what seems like a few minutes but when returning to the town they often notice that they have been missing for candlemarks, brightenings, and in some extreme cases months. This is why when an Ariosan notices somebody missing they do not panic or even begin to search for them for a very long time.
When one arrives at the destination the sight is amazing. Beautiful colored faes fill the air around the waterfall and fly back and forth seemingly doing nothing other than amusing their guests. The small fae of every sub-race are nonchalant and quiet unless they are spoken to by the visitor. If they feel they are wanted or called down upon they will go to a visitor; likewise, if they see a new visitor especially a child, one or two will come down to greet the visitor. This is the only conversation they will provide themselves though and it is up to the visitor to make conversation and if they do the fae might actually answer them.
The waterfall is what makes this place so amazing. It falls slowly, slower than it should and at times seems to pause all together. There are rare occasions when it seems to stop and even fewer times when it seems to be going upwards. There is a rainbow that is always around the falls day or night. It rests in the same position and is so vivid that it looks as though one could slide down it if there was a way to get up to the beginning of the rainbow.
Even though there is no way to get to the source of the water that seems to be streaming down from the top of a little hill, it is said that the source of the water is a small spring pond. The fae folk supposedly live around the pond in trees that they have made their homes in, as well as some mushroom houses or what ever suits them best.
The Fae Fall is a beautiful, unique place that is often used to calm down, comfort and relax people. Even though people with vast arcane knowledge have done research around the falls, it has never been clear why the place feels so magical and why the faes seem so drawn to it.

This location may be self-moded if you are just looking, however if you wish to talk with the fae it must be moderated
