By the WayWard Stones (Open)
Imperios, Brightening 45 of Kalendryas
Autumn of Era II of the Celestial Mandate
Era IX Post Fractum in the Age of the Darkening
Lindi Tinuviel sat comfortably, resting on the soft patches of moss that had crept all around the slightly glowing wayward stones, always adorned with vein like streaks of pigmented pink. These stones had served as a focus point, in the lifetime curiosity of Lindi to what purpose they could have served as. These ancients on the path leading to the gate of Ethgan’tor were a mystery that she knew she would never find the answer to.
The scent of nature had the Esh’lahier elf, in a state of relaxation, so that neither worry nor grief had the slightest cast of shadow on her current state of being. Although the nobility of Ethgan’tor hardly walked past the gates of the city itself, Lindi had frequented the forest in search of something other than the view which held her eyes on a daily fashion.
Never had she strayed too far, to the point where she would be deemed as one of the Esh’lahier who occasionally wandered out to the Allerian Empire for trade and commerce. No, Lindi had no ambitions of such sort as of yet. She had yet to start proper training.
Here, with her back resting against the small ivory tower which held the color changing way ward stones imbedded in them, the female Esh’lahier zoned in and out of reality. There was no purpose to this visit, other than to perhaps, claim a bit of peace for herself.
Her long thick mane of silver stranded hairs, was weaved into a braid which was then curled and pinned up with a thick wooden branch, to keep the dampness of the moss or the pieces of brittle and dried leaves from tangling and wetting it.
Calico cottom like skin, pale and radiant, bathed in the continual light which illuminated the forest, and the way ward towers, but in no fashion, changed the hue or tone of her natural color.
Here in the middle of all things, she was content. Though, she would turn back soon, for the grandness of the ivory city called out to her, as it did to all her kin, the final refuge of her people.

The young elf of the Fifth House of Ethgan'tor knew her place in her society. The common Esh'lahier of the city could differentiate those of the Houses and those who were not. Each of a House wore a distinguishing symbol, a pin of their House emblem.
The city was the heart of the Forest of Light, a shining beacon at the end of many trials. Many could not turn back without the knowledge of the city's secrets.
In the distance by the path that lied beyond, a sparkle of light caught Lindi's eyes. Verdant and transient was the flash, but strange enough to spark interest...

(OOC: Sure, it’s an open thread, feel free)
The natural capabilities of the Esh’lahier were much alike to the natural instinct of all elves, which shared the common ancestry through their origins. Her ability to pick up sound and images were far superior to that of any normal being, and thus, was aware of the environment around her, even at rest.
Though she was in no way trained as perhaps a druid would’ve been, to commune with the forest, it was easy to spot the brief flicker of light that instantly captured her attention.
Pulling herself up from the slouching position against the wayward stone, Lindi stared at the direction of light in hope of catching the sight again. The watch proved futile, but had managed to snag her attention nevertheless.
Curiosity roused, the female elf stood up, drawing herself into proper posture, while dusting her self off for pieces of broken leaves that might had stuck onto her clothing. Although the forest of light was to be feared, she was still close to the comforts of the city, and the Esh’lahier guarded their capital with valiant persistence.
She had never encountered genuine harm, so there was nothing to cast shadow on her newly risen adventure down the path towards the gleaming light.

OCC: I will be playing a NPC in this one.
Naturaly the day was chrisp and young. As the sun shown its way though the trees. Layings its light on the sides of the forest. Eothi was having a day like every other until a misguided step led him to a sight he had never seen before. Eothi felt as though he had never seen these stones before. He gazed on a little bit more. He then seen a elf, a female Esh’lahier standing. Eothi slowly walked up to the stones. He placed his right hand on one of them and drew his dagger. The blade resembeled that of a claw. Curved with ridges at the end. Tiny ridges that cannot be seen unless they are known. He cut a leaf off a tree and layed on the stone. He looked up at the elf and said, "These really are quiet interesting stones. I may have never noticed them before. You come here often?"

I frequent this area, yes… but that is only natural, for these woods belong to the Esh’lahier and are the outer boundaries of our domain.
Lindi stepped back, quite unsure of herself. The comforts of Ethgan’tor were still close by, and as an elf, Lindi Tinuviel was swift on her feet. If this man proved as a threat, she would have the advantage of knowing her surroundings.
The tests and trials of the Forest of Light which led to their city, were a time tested factor. She didn’t know whether that made her feel secure, or not.

Selegon looked confused for a moment. Selegon took one step forward and said, "Is this fear you are stressing toward me. I pose no threat toward you. I am freindly to those who are to me." He held out his hand and said, "Selegon Merith, bounty hunter, ranger to be." Selegon smiled to try to show his freindly side of him. Still with the he had a lasting impression that the elfess was not liking Selegon's random speakings. It was uncommon for a elf to walk up to a stranger and ask question. Selegon, of course, was not a "common" elf he played the life how he wanted to play it. That was, the less everyone knows the better he is. Selegon was mostly quiet and just another face in the crowd. Most of the people in Ethgan'tor knew him as The Silent One. He worked that up after a random mugging of a old elf as mistake in his hunting. He took up the moto The less everyone else knows, the better I am. This was the case. But Selegon felt the urge to ask questions sometimes, and this was one of those times.
