OOC: Help me DB! Questions, Comments, Praises mebbe?~

This is the OOC thread used mainly until 2006 arrives. If the activity is low, then I will keep this, if not then we'll start a new one.

Here I give praise to the past GMs of Ethgan'tor including Peach, Shaaw, and most currently Adder. If I miss anyone, please poke me in the face or what have you.

Please do not spam this thread with one-liners.

Questions, requests, and funny jokes as well as announcements are very welcomed.

Current status: Post waits maximum to One week Plus. Will get a new AGM Asap for Gracelands, High Peak, and Ethgan'tor~

Aquamarine is the color of the Gracelands, High Peak is blue, and I suppose Ethgan'tor is lavenderish?

but if u make a purchase so that your character has a weapon prior to an adventure that involves dire consequences or are in the middle of a conflict, that is not allowed please.

Thanks be to the ever helpful if somewhat dangerous DB for whipping the city back into shape.

You may have noticed that our cunning plan of sub-foruming the city means that while other cities have closed, Ethgan'tor has remained open! Woot!

Feel free to continue to post into the city, but as ever while all races bar the vysstichi are welcome here, those who are not Esh'lahier or fae will face obstacles.

What about those who are half breeds...Like my PC, I'm Esh'lahier and Syl'rosyan...?

Light elf is much more tolerated by the Esh'lahier, since the Esh'lahier beleive themselves to be light elf now. You would find the prejudice comes from the light elves who don't trust or beleive that the Esh'lahier have shaken off their dark elf roots. Actually, given that distrust and the low elven pregnancy rate half breeds such as yourself would be very, very rare. So in the city you could expect some disdain, but not a great deal more than you would get for not being a member of one of the Houses anyway.

Its likely that if you went to Syl, you'd get shot on sight. Of course none of the other dark elves trust the Esh'lahier either after what they see as the betrayal so all in all its a poor deal for the Esh'lahier

That is one of the challenges of playing the race! Too many people play elves as pointy eared humans and ignores their cultural quirks. <shrugs>

I hadn't actually found those threads when I asked about the militrary, I understand quite a bit more about the Esh'lahier now. I'm just starting to read the old Co-ord threads at the moment, and I feel that the information about the Esh'lahier and Ethgan'tor is very fragmented. Maybe things will be clearer when the Wiki comes back, which I hope is relatively soon.
