Finding A Hatred
Selegon awoke the next morning finding himself slopped against a tree with a cut on his right arm, and a bruise on his chest. His hair was messed up and his shirt was ripped. He squints and looks at himself. Selegon makes a attempt to stand up, utterly fails. Selegon was up hunting the night when he had gotten jumbed by a know couple of light elves from Silrosia. Selegon had some roots comming out of Silrosia but he never put mucxh thought into this may have been the cause of his hardache. "...How did this...happen..." Selegon says outloud. He was unaware of himself getting jumped in which case he forgot. He stands up and makes his way toward the town. He stumbles into the doors of the inn. A couple heads turn and looks at him. Blood began to run from his arm and bleed to the floor. Selegon looks at the innkeeper and says, "...Is El'trin around..." She simply just nodds. Seleogn now covers his wound with his hand. "Can you inform...him that Selegon Mer...Merith is here...please..." She gets up and leaves the room. Selegon sits on a wooden stool and waits. "Ah Selegon what happend to you?" Selegon glares up at him with some what of a hate and passion to kill, or just simply anger. "I was hoping you could inform me...you were there..." El'trin slightly looses his grin and says, "Ok follow me." El'trin leads Selegon into this room and says, "We began to drink a little, next thing that we all knew, three light skins show up from Silrosia after you left. They were asking if we know of a mixed elf named. 'Merith'. I replyed that you just left to your camp in the woods. They left after you, and I'm assuming they jumped you..." Selegon modded slightly and wondered. He arose a smile that would shake a orc. "Tell me Trin...should I get them..." El'trin rose a eyebrow and grinned, "Well, you should just let this go. It was more then likly nothing. I have toi return to work, good day Selegon." He left the room. Selegon said to himself, "This is not over...not at all."

Selegon got up and stomped his feet on the ground shaking the mud off of them. He looked out at the forest of light. Seleogn was not if he should go find these mugger or if he should just let this fan out, he did know one thing...they will get theirs...As the day pressed it self on Selegon never put much thought into it at that moment, because when he left his camp he was robbed of his small belongings. Selegon used his little ranger abilites to find this theif and he was goning to head the scoundral.

Selegon figured that it really didn't make much sence to why everyone wants to mess with him, aside from being the mixed breed. Some may even refer to him from time to time as 'a accident at birth is all'. Selegon was not this, not at all. He was a normal elf, trying to do normal things, aside from the fact everyone seems to have a small haterd for the light ones, even if Selegon is only half. As the night crepped itself to the forest. Selegon could faintly see a figure moving in the distance. He quicklt picked up speed and quietly moved toward it. He drew his small dagger and held it in his hand, pushed flush against his wrist and forearm, almost hidden from anyones eyes. He seen the figure picking some twigs up off the ground, he looked like a scout of some kind. Selegon could tell he was not of the light breed kind, but he was indeed a possible threat, as everyone in these woods can be. "Whoa!" The figure seen Selegon comming up on him and alerted him by simply letting out a mildly loud alarm. He looks at Selegon and asks him, "What are your "plans" here? Holding a dagger...So quick to deal murder and death, almost unperil to what you know you can do." Selegon put his blade away and replyed, "My plans are to find out yours." Selegon gave him a serious look and did not move. The figure lauged at him and said, "You are not of my match little one, not at all. Go where you are safe from these dangers, and quit causeing them for yourself." Selegon restrained from getting angry, and simply gets even. "You try to be wise...Dealing judgment so quickly and still you don't know. Home is not safe for me, and I'm sure you know who I am, and I'm sure you know that my home is just small camp...You were there last night...I some what reconize your voice some how." Selegon is beginging to find the thing he has not been looking for...Hate... "You not understand me half breed! Which is too bad!" The figure swings at Selegon hitting him on the right side of his face knocking him to one knee. Selegon then looks at him and jumps for him hurling blow after blow at him. Connecting every other hit, while being hit. The figure tails off and Selegon sits on the ground staring at him running, holding himself up and falling as hes running. Selegon manges to say "...Day two..."

Selegon didn't push himself to get up, he just sat as the night brushed against his skin, almost in a potent fasion. Selegon knew that the person or figure was responsible for what happend the day before with his camp, and he knows that there are more out there. Selegon thought something was strange about all this. The figure was not a light breed, but then why would El'trin say they were? Selegon began to over think. Maybe these culprits were the local dark elves pulling a raid on him because he is half breed, or maybe not. Maybe one of them was El'trin, maybe he was El'trin. Selegon didn't know for sure, and Selegon was indeed hurting himself just thinking about it. Selegon makes a attempt to stand up, fails. He falls to his hand and knees and tries again. This time he manages to make it work. Selegon had taken almost two straight days of beatings with little to no sleep. Hate is so hard to find is you have never expiranced what it maybe like, Selegon has had hate quite a few times, but right now he feinds for it. He looks like a mad man, almost changed from his elven traits. Almost like the world is now against him. This is not true, but he thinks this regardless. Selegon manages to stumble through the woods, tripping every four or five steps. He arrives at the inn, buting through the doors. Poping both open as a couple heads turn to look at his beaten body him. Selegon look at the innkeeper and says angerly, "Give me El'trin...now!" The innkepper quickly went and woke Trin up. El'trin hurried to Selegon. "What is it Selegon, its the middle of the night." Selegon simply looks at him and says, "Day two!" El'trin leads him into his room and lights a candle. "Oh yes Mr. Merith, he indeed cought you a couple times." Selegon closely examines Trins face for injuries. None, this could not have been trin. Then who else know that Selegon is half breed, all but who...?

Selegon galared at him and for some odd reaso n felt the need to lash out at anyone seeking to get into his way of things. "Listen here Trin, you and I have been 'freinds' for a while. If you know anything about why I got what I got, then you had better tell me!" Selegon could see that El'trin began to whip his sweaty palms on his pants. Selegon closely wtached this for any lies. "Selegon...I know what I told you..." Selegon pointed at his hands and said, "You hands, they are sweaty....Are you lying...?" El'trin seemed to crack under the pressure he was put onto. He could tell Selegon was in no mood for the inistent play at the moment.[i] "Ok then Selegon...They came here in search of you for no apprent reason, also they are not lightskins. I told you that to throw you off. They are three of your elfkin they know you are halfbreed and they wish to nutralize you for some reason. Other then that I know nothing. Selegon spit on him and walked out. Simply Selegon's anger has risin for beyond the point of irrated. He has is just now found his hatred. Selegon will hunt these three for any means nessicary, even if it means forever.

Selegon walked out of the inn. The cold of the night still in formation. Selegon scanning the night ground, walking aimlessly with no hence of direction. With no clues as to where to go, no ways to fimd the enemy, except. Selegon knew of a old beaten path along the towns edge. Selegon only had followed it about a quarter of the way, being that the path leads fully through the Forest of Light. Selegon had some odd intention to walk the path. Night greeping itself apong him, Selegon can feal the lack of sleep hitting his body. He started to have illusions, while being awake. Selegon simply falls. He hits the ground on his back. His limbs sprawled out on the ground. Selegon stares at the cannopy of the trees, and the stars in the sky. He eventually just falls a sleep.

The day broke upon Selegon's cold face like water on rocks. Either way Selegon knew he had to get up and get going. He left his current possition and stared at the beaten path once again. Selegon wasn't really aware that there was a forked path up ahead a ways. Selegon walked the forest floor, exaiming every little detail that might help him find these enemies of his. Selegon would normally just give up and move on, but for reason he feals the need to push on. As Selegon came to the fork in the path he stopped and looked at them and decieds aimlessly which one he was going to choose. He chose the one that acctually lead toward the center of the forest, but Selegon could not have know this. The chances of acctually running into these three would be nearly impossible. Selegon didn't care.

Selegon quickly noticed a grey string hanging from a tree branch as he walked by. He plucked it and examined it closly. It looked like a string of thread from a shirt or a cloke of some kind. Selegon had a slight idea that this belongewd to one of the three villains. Still Selegon kept it in his pocket and moved on. He could see that the path becomes almost invisable. The night was creeping itself on closer and closer. Selegon came to the point where he had to rest and recover all of his former strength if he wishes to catch the culprits he is after. Unaware how far or along these three may be, Selegon will keep pushing on and eventually sight them out. Selegon had idea of how to get revange. Run at them with his sword drawn, bad idea. Sneek up behind all three at the same time, risky. Follow each one indidually, smart. Wait for the three to split up and then follow each one and seek the ever so sought, hateful revange.

Selegon is not one to really "hold a grudge" so to speak, but in this case it was diffrent. Selegon figured playing one cheap trick, diserves another in return. Then again Selegon was not one to give up on a project either. Still Selegon followed the original path. He seen a small glimmering shard under a tree root that was raised slightly above the ground, covered by leaves and brush. For some reason it cought the eye of the elf. Selegon approched it and picked it up, it was a ruby color and it had a slight glow comming from the center. He could tell it was not there for awhile, acctually it was only there for about a day and a half. Selegon closly exaimed every spec on the shard. Unaware of its use Selegon kept the shard anyways, for safe keeping. He put it away on moved on the path. The forest was all so quiet and relaxing. Selegon loves to take in the fresh air of the forest all at once, but then at the same time, he really couldn't care for the forest eaither, he has other things on his mind at that point to really notice the brightness of the forest of Light. Selegon stopped to eat a little bit of ffod he had left.
