A floating castle that originally belonged to
Praesul Stuart de Marchant, Castle Marchant was anchored in the province of
Prime to serve as a sentinel against operations by Prince
Valorian at the beginning of the
Aureolia Movement. Not a particularly big castle, it nevertheless has a place on most Imperial maps. Its origins as a floating castle are still visible near the foundations.
It is currently the home of the 28th Imperial
Legion, the Sons of Valimar. A militant fortress for the Army, its surroundings are mostly uninhabited aside from the occasional hut.
