The King's Highway is one of the most traveled roads in the
Aelyrian Empire. Built by the first settlers of
Aelyria Prime under the stewardship of Prince
Rynus von Oreskovich, it is the main mode of travel in the South, passing through the
Pegasi Woods and the Forests of
Lysandria, later splitting off into roads leading through Northern
Sherian Province and Eastern
Enamoria Province.
One of the two main arteries connecting the Empire to the Imperial City, the King's Highway has often been the object of considerable danger and banditry, especially during the mage-government of the self-proclaimed Emperor
Julos.
