specifcly if you go here Development - Aelyria

the site images that acompany each seperate forum of the forge are not propertly loading.

*glancing closer, it seems the images sourced at aelyria.com are functioning, but those sourced at playbypost.com are not.

Since our links showing thred names are not reading right because they are obviously aelyria.com, is playbypost.com just being used temporarily, or should we change all our links so pcs can find locations?

Hi Firebird,

There's no need to change links; any links you previously had to Aelyria.com will be auto-redirected to the proper address. Try clicking on them, and you will see.

Yeah the links work but in my map thread they reverted to just links and showed the links not the place names, such as

Golden Sword Inn

was changed to: http://playbypost.com/forums/goldensword etc.

Those links should be properly displaying if they are valid forums or threads located at Aelyria, either on aelyria.com or at playbypost.com. For example, see below -- the first link is at aelyria.com, while the second is at playbypost.com. Both resolve properly in our auto-renaming feature (which is one of our advanced Search Engine Optimization featurettes).

The URL you entered for Golden Sword Inn was invalid; there is no forum located at the URL you entered, so it gets auto-renamed to the main forum (Aelyria). Double check your URL to make sure it is or was a valid forum.

Okay I know what to do now. I just wanted to know if playbypost.com was going to be permanent. Thans Juan

Also yesterday I noticed my pc Joyau delaLune could not get into her profile and I think its because you had previously done something manual to her Companion account. I noticed this because her tag had changed from Sprite-healer to "notable". When I tried to change it back it would not let me in to revise it saying I was not authorized to do so.

So am so sorry for being a pest but could you look into that also.

There appear to be some broken icon links. A few of the badges that people have are not displaying properly.

Maybe its something goofy on my end, but every time I try to search from the search box at the top of the forums, I am told..

Thanks for the reports, everyone. Before I address the latest issues, I just wanted to point out (and you should now be seeing via a Notice) that the Aelyria Server will have a brief (10-15 min.) downtime while I reconfigure our Database layout.

1. Badge Graphics -- I will take a look at these right away. Can you provide me a specific link where badge graphics are broken? I want to make sure that they are corrected. Thank you!

2. Search. Yes, this is a template issue that I will fix shortly.

Now this could just be on my end, but as I look at your avatar on the left, I cannot see your Skype button, the Troubadour, Stalwart, or Vanguard.

Also there is an image to the left or the USER CP link at the top as well to the right of the LOG OUT Link that do not appear.

Again it has worked in the past from my work computer, but just not today. I wish I was at home to check it. (That and just to be home.)

Definitely weird; and definitely needs to be fixed. Can you tell me what style you are using?

I have just fixed this. Search on Aelyria styles ("Aelyria", "Pirates" and their subsidiaries) should be working properly now. Thank you!

I am using the main style "Aelyria" and IE7.

The Skype is a school thing. It is blocked on my end. No worries there.

The badges have now shown up, but the images on either side of the link bar are still M.I.A. They are also missing on the other styles as well.
