| The Realm Overview
Aelyria is a vast world of eternal beauty and dangerous perils; many adventurers value their map and compass more than any weapon or treasure. The Cartographic Society has historically been charged with the distinct honor of producing high quality maps of Aelyria and her surroundings. Depicting the diverse terrain and varied climate zones to be found within the realm, the Map of Aelyria is routinely updated to reflect shifts in settlements and discoveries of new places and locations. Detailed guides on landmarks and introductory travelogues are written in the Gazetteer.
Political Overview
The Realm is divided by topography and terrain into at least nine distinct regions, or provinces. Each province has a unique history and culture binding its inhabitants to one another and setting the tone of engagement with other provinces throughout the land. As a sovereign entity, Aelyria is both a kingdom and an empire. Resting majestically upon the seat of power to the east, the Kingdom of Aelyria consists of the historical possessions of the Royal House of Ioannes and its monarch successors. Sprawling across the continent and staking claim to everything that can be seen, the Aelyrian Empire is a vast dominion forged by the blood of conquest and shrewdness in diplomacy. Today, Aelyria by and large can be considered a single political unit organized into its constituent provinces:

Yes, although some of it doesn't really match up with some of the age-old stuff - such as Trysvale now being right up against Libertas Bay when it's always been a location for a ferry across to Demios? The way it's set up on the map now makes that impossible.
I see a few locations that are going to need to change IC because of it, but it is pretty...

Please stay tuned for the announcement later today -- the map will be changed to reflect IC reality, by and large; not the other way around. Thanks!

Dargis is going to need to be moved - it's supposed to be under the Dolwoods.

Wasn't Natura located next to the Dolwoods too? And when will this be finalized? When my training thread is finalized I'll need to know whether the enchanted glade that moved from Arios to the main land stays there.
Aside from that, Provincial borders would be nice.

Dargis and Zerdargia should not be confused -- Dargis was always a city beneath the foothills of the Great Mountains; Zerdargia (the name meaning, "Above and Beyond the City of Dargis") was a super-terranean settement built by Humans, Gnomes, and Dwarves.

I was running on Timothys notes Juan. Dargis was destroyed by the invasion of the forest caused by the elves. The Dargis adventure locked that into place in RP terms as a location. As a former GM of Zerd I'm not easily confused between the two.
You are of course free to ignore Timothy and the RPed location

Silrosia was RPed as having a coast, docks, ships etc as in the city had access to the Bay of Kyathis. This new map shows otherwise being replaced instead with Pendecia?

Ken, that is only one of the many things wrong with the Silrosian section of the map. I am still waiting for the revision thread for the map to show up, unless I have missed it.

(Adds her list of changes)
The Serewood in -on- Trident Isle...as is Vladimgrad ( towards the lower portion and to the left with a dock.) As well, Jaedaxia should be fatter cause it has ports on both sides that are directly within the city.

For all the comments I could have said, the only thing I shall say is pretty good.

The size of the icon is irrelevant as it's just an artistic representation and not the actual size of the city in comparison to the geography around it. Changing the map doesn't change the size of the peninsula or the size of Jaedaxia -- the explanation for Jaedaxia having 2 ports is there's a deep fjord cutting through the east side of the peninsula.
But she's right about Vladimgrad and the Serewood. how you'll get that on the map of the Trident is beyond me... Dralinheim and Vladimgrad aren't even that important and could be left off? Just the Serewood and Frasbourg.
