Nocturna [Fox]
9th of Immanis, Spring of Era II of the Celestine Mandate. Era XIV. Darkening Hours.
The moons danced brightly on that solemn night, Brahkula had spoken to the thane. And now she was left to her own devices as she wandered the graveyard, she found a particular grace amongst the hedge stones it was a home away from home of sorts. The alleged daughter of none other then Antediluvian, did enjoy herself under the starlight. This place was serene to the chamber of her most beloved and treasured friend Elize, the master of house hun'viir. She remembered her room, its walls embroided with skeletons and skulls polished bones that shimmered with disturbing beauty and decidance. She remembered her ivory master work coffin its plush silks and velvets how it sat atop a pedestal that rested on an island which moat was filled with not water but blood.
As she walked she wondered, did Imperia have those such as herself? Were there creatures that walked the night and drank the blood of there victims, not of immortality or unending life but that of everlasting undeath? A nosferatu that wished to unearth the blood lord himself, yet despite what she had amassed felt alone perhaps afraid that she had been abandoned and forgotten.
It was not a time for self pity, but of self reflection.
Perhaps there were others like herself under the twilight tonight.

The graveyard of Imperia is not a place to wander at night. Not unless one is a victim, an idiot or a beast. Which meant that Brahkula stood out somewhat and was likely to be noticed.
Which, of course, she was. She was noticed as soon as she set foot on the soil of the graveyard. Above the earth, the nocturnals saw her and whispered in their slithering voices, speaking of the one who was above.
Below the earth, they whispered too, telling of footsteps unheard before, speaking of sounds and smells that were new and wondering, some of them at least, of the taste of the flesh of the one above.
And in the darkness, to Brahkula, there was quiet.
Quiet save the steady dripping of the water into the water pail, of course. Quiet save the rustle of the wind as it disturbed the trees and grass and quiet save for the soft footfalls that could just be heard in the distance.
Near a tomb that stood, monolith - like in the middle of the more well off area of the graveyard. Behind that, maybe, or to the side. But there was definite footsteps and a slight.. scraping.
Which of course, she was.

You could feel it and hear it in the wind, a chilling melody to an endless waltze beneath the moonlight. Did her ears decievith her? Or did she hear the sounds of foot steps lurking in the distance, had her heart still beat it would have lifted in shear jubilation. Had the darkness beckoned her call? Twas this twilight to hold a special gift for her, indeed it appeared so.
She let her senses indulge in the surreal atmosphere, the smell of the grass that wind that washed across her face and the sounds of water droplets pitter pattering into the pale. Lady Of Angels took it all in, the sights of hedge stones that glowed beneath the moonlight that cascaded down in wondrous rays. She savored it.
And then she carried on forward towards those sounds, there was a certain pedigree with her step as she glided with grace across the cobble stone paths. She let her instinct take over, and the nocturnal raptor that she was decided to follow the noise in hot pursuit.
Her argues journey had come to a halt, a mystery before her eyes; a tomb. There the noise resonated, she did wonder for a moment what kind of fun this new stranger might be. Was this another angel of darkness to grace her court, or was she to be made a fool and drown in the bitter taste of dissapointment. She bit her lip gently in anticipation, this was unbearable she felt the flutter of adrenaline kick through her veins.
It was time for the cliff hanger, that make or break moment as she swung around that solemn tomb stone that stood erect and monolith like a giant pillar reaching towards the heavens.
Her eyes did widen, and her smile too beamed as radiant as the star-light tonight.

Footfalls, there was no doubting them as she moved forwards, their noise minute but still enough that her ears heard them. She could easily make out the footfalls as she approached, drinking in the atmosphere of the place, the ambience of the area that she found herself in.
As she moved across the cobble stone paths, Brahkula found herself enveloped in darkness. This mausoleum stood, almost as big as a number of the poorer house in Imperia, and there it was. Behind its massive walls there were the footsteps and yet here there was little or no light. Which may have been coincidence, of course, or synchronicity for the dark creatures that lurked.
And as she moved forwards, stepping into the darkness, the footfalls stopped. Of course they did. She moved around to where they had been but a second before, but Brahkula rounded the mausoleum and found that there was no one there. No one at all.
"Isn't it a little scary for such a tender morsel to be out?" said a voice, behind her.
Directly behind her.
Assuming that she turned to look there was a man. He was tall and thin and pale and handsome. His clothing was of an era long ago and he carried no weapon. He smiled at Brahkula and his sharp teeth shone in the moons light.

So it was nothing and her heart sank, but then words flowed from behind her that flowed like streams of velvet. It caused her to jump a bit, before she had a moment to compose herself.
That was an interesting little trick, how did he do it she pondered. It was more intriguing than terrifying, so there he was the real deal. Not some fake, but a true vampire. When she turned she was face to face, with an alarmingly sophisticated young man he was thin yet his face carried an ageless quality while his flesh was pale. His clothing was from times that were nay a memory, flamboyant and extravagant it was as if he was a time capsul that she had just unearthed.
It was a marvelous moment, the last vampire she had met Lady Torbryn now that particular meeting for lack of a better word was really awkward. To be honest she had met stale water with more flavor then that woman, but this one no he was not a total loss at all. Charming, cunning perhaps even lethal it was an almost elevating experience.
It was that bubbly personality that made her enthusiastic, to meet another emo esq vampire would have been a miserable ordeal. After all as a woman who liked the entertainment of company a card board cut out would not suffice for an eventful evening.
"Perhaps, but seeing as how im in the presence of a strong young man such as yourself I dont see much reason to be worried. I am Lady of Angels, and who might I have the pleasure of meeting this night my Gentleman Caller."
She smiled in wicked amusement, her perfect snow white teeth plain to see with those sinister fangs gleaming under the cascading moonlight.

ooc: Peer modding in my pc account to finish this thread. As per our discussion.
ic:
The man looked at her and smiled a little deeper. He nodded at her words and inclined his head gently, to the left. He looked at her for a moment, considering her carefully, perhaps, or wondering what her blood would taste like should he feast upon her.
"Lady of Angels?" he asked, quietly, his voice sounding.. amused. "Is that your name? I wonder at such a strange name.... it sounds more like a title created to hide behind. But still, I am asked and I give. My name is Ter'rri, and I would be horrified were you to think that I could protect you this darkening. I am merely a simple soul walking through the Graveyard in the search for a slight morsel to eat, or a..." his eyes flashed sharper than any tooth could ever be "... toy to play with. Tell me, Lady of Angels" the last said with perhaps, just perhaps, a hint of mockery "Have you set your eyes upon either such delight here whilst you've been.... well, I don't know what you're doing here so I can not say more, but while you have been here, doing whatever it is that you are doing... "
He smiled beneficently at her and waited for her answer. His face gave away nothing at all, he had no expression to read, save for a small twinkle of amusement that danced around his eyes when he looked at her.

"I could say the same for you, Terr'ri how am I supposed to take a name with that many R's seriously." As if to jest further she stuck her tongue out at him and giggled "But if what I speak is truth, and you are horrified that I may trust you upon this midnight hour. Why do you stay and not run? For how do you know that is not I that shall gobble you up upon this wondrous starlight starbright night."
Perhaps to mock the seriousness of the situation further, Brahkula raised her arms up and bore her teeth and curved her fingers in a similar manner to a statue she had seen of a werewolf in her stay with another nosferatu a lady Tobryn. But she smiled and giggled abruptly.
"But perhaps I have had a morsel to eat, and perhaps I have seen a toy to play with or it could be by some refreshing twist of fate that it is you who have seen some amusement in this dull and sullen place."
The life of most vampires was one of an awkward lonely out of place existance, why be serious when bubbly and fun was just that much better and so hard to come by. It was moments like this encounters that were to be treasured not be drawn out into something as foolish as a showdown.
She did blurt out one last retort, as she composed herself as arrogantly and silly as possible. As she raised her right hand and wavered her pointer finger around side to side at him.
But do not touch what you cannot afford.
After that she grinned wildly in his direction.

He looked her up and down and raised one eyebrow laconically. "I think that I am fairly safe from you, little morsel. Your flowing blood spills too easily for you to risk it here this darkening, I think. One thing I have learned about mortals, in my ordinations on this strange soil, is that nothing is free to you. Risk is something you laugh at, but fear. You are strange and unruly and a blight to this land. You should all be devoured, each and every one."
He looked at her and smiled a cold, heartless and soul-less smile. At her last words, his smile widened, his teeth glinting in the moons light. This guy had spooky down to a fine art.
"I do not touch that which is beneath me. Unless I choose to destroy it, but that is best left to others, lesser beings."
He glanced, once, behind her and his smile deepened once again.
"You bore me. Go now, be gone from here and run as fast as your mortal legs will take you. There is much danger to you here, should you stay. Leave. Now"
He seemed rather unconcerned whether she left or not, but his words seemed sincere. Once more, a quick glance behind her. Should Brahkula glance behind her, there was nothing to see.
Nothing at all.

This particular vampire seemed to be highly adept at being creepy more so then spooky, and the way he kept glancing behind her made her wonder. It had sent an all to familiar shiver of fear rolling slowly down her spine. Was he trying to play her? Make her turn around? It was unnerving, perhaps she had stepped into something that was far more inhospitable and terrifying than she had first surmized. Yet she heard no sounds behind her yet. He probably wanted her to turn her head to expose her neck so he could pounce on her. Shed done things similiar to that...
Tricky tricky, almost had me but you forgot one lil detail.
This time she glanced behind him and her smile twisted with malicious glee as her tongue glided across the top row of her teeth.
She took one step forward towards him, then another, and then another till she was close but not close enough to grab at her. Lady Of Angels, just stood there motionless and quiet now wondering how he would react after he told her to leave. Of course she was going to be a lil defiant.
She dug her hand into her pocket and removed a simple card it was the equivelent to a VIP pass at her establishment he could drink and sleep for free. There were little in the way of guards outside the rasphody, it was a vampire sanctuary of sorts. A sauced unknowing victim was easy prey and something rather useful for him.
Take this, if you ever feel like having a drink on me.

He watched her step forward, watched her turn and none of it seemed to have any kind of impact on him. He watched, unmoving, as he watched her breathing. His expression was unconcerned as he saw her hold out the card.
The card he ignored completely and he looked her up and down, watching her carefully. His eyes told a story of someone who knew exactly what he'd do if he wanted a drink on her.... and it would not be to come to a pseudo-vampire haven.
Without another word he turned away from her, his back exposed as he stepped away, not taking the card and not speaking a word.
It seemed that he though she was not worth it...
