A Giant on a Fake Mission
1st Brightening of Cryxatum, in the Season of Summer,
Era II of the Celestine Mandate, Era XIV Post Fractum
Gregory wandered around town for a while, after inquiring about some wears which he could purchase from the local forge and thought about his 3 bodies of game which was inside a large sack of his. He wondered where in Imperia he could dispose of these for some gold, or where, if anyone were to tell him, was the market to sell his games.
With his anger currently still in check, Gregory walked over to a large shady spot where he could keep himself away from the sun and sat down. It didn't actually take long before a halfling came over and spoke with Gregory, commenting on the hot sun that was baking everyone, and wondered why did a giant suddenly appeared in such a place.
For the Halfling, it was lucky. Gregory's anger was directed to, what he called, little people. Humans, elves and the likes. Dwarves, Gnomes and Halfling, and several other shorter races were considered to be fine, and their existance did not bother him too much.
"Me Gregory, not scare hot sun. Just don't want deer meat to rot." Gregory replied with much gusto that people several buildings away could had heard him. "Me on mission to buy good thing for self, to go on mission. Need to fight bull in spiky ground and catch big fish and destroy a lot of large stones. It's my become brave ceremony!" Gregory answered the halfling's question, picking out from his memory, his own manhood ceremony many patterns back. "Now me thinking what to get to destroy stone. I think me get leather shirt and metal shoes for bull and large three pointed spear for fish, but big club and big axe not good for many big stones."
Gregory leaned back and bided the halfling farewell after the halfling said that he could try using stone to break stone. Gregory smiled to himself, wondering if that idea was a good one, but he could not test it out at the moment... Not yet. He needed a small town or a unaware city. He also needed a good plan, one that he could kill people and destroy towns as though it was not his fault!
He breathed in deeply and smiled at the next fellow that came forward and spoke to him.
