Hunting for Blood (Open)
Month of Aperitus in the Season of Summer
Era II of the Celestine Mandate, Era XIV Post Fractum
Paradigm Shift: Reopening of Olympia
Jegath sat in a quite silence, the bronze collar around his neck gleamed with polish, it could of been made from dragon flesh for all the Dracon cared - no matter what it was made out of, it still managed to bite into his neck, a painful reminder of what he once had been.
He shifted his head towards the sky in silent consideration, the dew-drop diamond stars reflected in his amber eyes before they touched the moons. A soft breeze blew through the city, stirring the thick cloak that wrapped around his tone, but thinning body. Sickle shaped claws were wrapped around the hilt of his short sword, the other hung loosely at his side as he gazed over the city from his vantage point on the rooftops.
In a manner fitting of a gargoyle he stood on the edge of the building, most of his body masked beneath his dark cloak, his taloned toes peeked over the edge, curling around the building's contours.
How he despised this city.
How he loathed his task.
It was a crystal moment of sanity, were the pain made his eyes clench shut for a moment in aching remembrance - and here, here he was, collecting more innocents or anyone who thought they were man enough to take on the Lich.
Cupping his hands to his fanged muzzle he sang out in a rich voice that beat across the buildings and echoed in the alleys:
"People.... people of Imperia,
I have a challenge for you!
Perhaps a dream, For all of you unloved.
Perhaps a nightmare, For all of you honorable.
Perhaps a quest, For all of you searching.
Follow me, Across the sands,
Follow me, Past Nexus Prime,
Follow me, Through the River of Carmelya.
Into the heartland.
Into the tundra.
I leave in next month's time,
In search for slaves and adventures alike.
If none follow me from here,
My next destination, is Nexus Prime."
His untouched wings stretched from under the midnight cloak, gleaming dully as he flapped them a few times, hoping to be a beacon to all of those looking for an adventure.
