Leadership comes in small doses. (Open)
The Month of Imperos or Junctior, in the Season of Autumn, Era II of the Celestine Mandate, Era XIV Post Fractum.
Drake Flowe had just finished the nightly task of try to penny the streets for any kind of income. The streets can either make or break you. He sits by the docks under a quiet night sky thinking to himself. Just at that moment he notices a small glimmer of light threw a thick fog. It was a ship coming to dock, and it was filled with crime ridden pirates consuming the every day sole the the average Imperian citisan like Drake.
He slowly moved away with the fear they would see and chase him to his death. Well, just as he ran they were already in clear vison. They seen him and began to make a quick dash for him. Drake got a lucky dodge from a farily small pirate. Drake knokced down some crates to try and slow them. It was no good they plowed through it like a band of crazy bulls. Drake ran threw ally after ally looking for safe refuge. Then finally a break. "Psst. Over hear, take my trust or be a pity fool" Drake had no choice and ran into the mans home.
"Them damned pirates always causeing trouble in these parts. Your not the first one i've saved, you ani't gonna be the last." Drake quickly got his breath and responds, "I'll apollgise and introduce later for now lets chase them down!" Drake and the mystry man headed to the streets and found three of the nineteen pirates. He walked back unmarked, drake however was not so lucky. He was pretty banded up. "Well you got it good." Drake spits some blood on the floor. "Look kid your gonna need a little help out there and I can provide you that. Names, Triveal Noxhold leader of a small band of men known as the Tired Hearts. I can provide some effort to you, if you can provide to my effort." Drake whips his face, "Whats you cause?" Triveal grins, "Get more of us, lets protect our home and above all our people." Drake nodds. "Deal. My name is Drake Flowe." Triveal and Drake shake hands. "Lets make some change."

"Well to be honest with you Mr. Flowe, I really haven't stuck my neck out there to collect any others to help me. As a matter of fact your the first one to trust me. Good think you have good judgement and don't judge a book by its cover." The reason Triveal said that is because he could come off as a threat to most poeple. Tall abover average build and has two small daggers at his side. They look as though they could be quickly drawn and very deadly. He also was dressed head to toe in the same two colors white and red. "Triveal, whats with the red and white." Triveal looks at him. "Those are the colors of The Tired Hearts. Here."
Triveal gives drake some clothes that had blood red color with white trim. "Where it with pride, you will help shape Imperia's underground along with me. Change to these streets and docks." Drake threw them on they were a little loose but thats how he like his gear. "You know how to use duel daggers?" Drake shook his head. "Well you about to learn. They are deadly and can put used quickly. Here i have a few extras, they are nothing special though." Drake grabed them and threw them around his waist, on his belt. "Drake you want training I can also provide that?" Drake nodded. "Remeber these words:
Hide in Darkness!
Meet in Silence!
Crowd the Docks!
Burn the Ships!
Lets us take back what is our and destroy the pirate infestion. I'll train you, but first find me two other men to fight along with us, to make them Tired Hearts." Drake nodded and headed for the doors. He had already went back to the docks. Nothing. No one, not even a leaf blowing on the ground. Silence. Drake fell a sleepfor a long while outside a small pub, the sun was arising. A man was coming into work to unlock the door. Drake awoke to the sound. Drake waited for a bot before entering and already there were three drunks being drunk and cheery.

Timeout Please!
Hi Drake!
Welcome to Imperia! I'm glad to see a new face and welcome you to the best city in the Empire. I love the atmosphere of your first post and think its extremely brave that you want to fight pirates! But before we can get into that I want to share a couple things with you.
First is the issue of role playing NPCs. Role playing NPCs that haven't been approved by a moderator or given to you by another Player who has legally obtained the NPCs is a big no-no unfortunately. An example is you creating the "tired hearts" organization. You can of course do such things, but they take development and player action. They cannot just "Poof!" out of mid-air! Please read the following which has been quoted from the writing guide located in the rules book:

It's okay to assume that other characters might do expected or ordinary things, but try not to control their actions. Sometimes, controlling the actions of other characters can seem arbitrary - almost as if multiple characters are being set up to do something together, when they really should not be. In Aelyria, this is affectionately called "stooging". Let the owners of the other characters post responses to you.

Also, there is a term the users of the board used called "bunnying". Bunnying occurs when you post the consequences to your actions, and this is against game rules. An example of bunnying is you writing you fought three pirates and posting the outcome of the situation. A way to get around bunnying would be to post finding the pirates and initiating combat. Then I, the moderator, would work with you by role playing and determine the outcome. Please read the following for clarification:

Posting the consequences of your action is known in Aelyria as "bunnying".

Unfortunately Drake, because of the liberal use of these two items in your thread it must be closed down. HOWEVER!, I would love to role play with you, and we can surely have your character go try to rough some pirates or search for NPCs who would like to join you. It just has to be done by the rules, and now that you know of them I think you'll do fine!!
So Please private message me if you want to set up another thread and we can go from there and do some adventuring! (of which I would love to do!)
