Chronosynch: Ancient Veil Enshrouds Silrosia
Imperia, while certainly chilly, and clammy, was not near as biting as High Peak. As Gnaia and Thom made their way into the city Gnaia removed her fur cloak and packed it away, however, she continued to wear the coat over her clothing. It wasn't
that much warmer than High Peak, still being winter, after all.
Having asked about a good inn with a wash, they'd made their way to
"The Headless Orc". The only thing that really distinguished the building from all the other flat-roofed buildings in the city that Gnaia had seen was the very sign they were told to look for: a bloody orc's head overlaying a foaming mug of beer.
"Here it is!" Gnaia exclaimed when she saw the sign, and darted into the building, once again annoying the much more wary Thom.
The inside of the building was quite cozy, and as Thom entered he saw Gnaia shrug out of her coat for one of the rather few times since he'd met her. Her skin was exceptionally fair, as could be seen from her arms. She wore just her tight black woolens now. Long pants and a blouse whose sleeves reached her elbows. Thom as usual didn't even flick back his hood. You could almost think him ashamed of the massacre done his features.
"Serale there! Can I help you?" A chestnut-haired human asked as they entered.
"Serale!" Gnaia beamed at him.
"My friend and I have had a long journey." She began, and then the smell of the food tickled her nose, and she adjusted her aims in her mind quickly before continuing.
"What's for dinner?" She asked, giving the man her most radiant smile.
