I've been putting this off for quite some time, trying to debate on the circumstances of it all. However I cannot delay and ponder anymore, if not for myself then for you guys. Effective the 31st of this month I will be stepping down as your Game Master. The reasons are long and varied, mostly having to due with a lack of time and frustration at my performance. I will not be abandoning you however!! All threads I have with you now and are posted in Imperia at the date this is posted I will finish with you. I do not believe in making you all suffer without a mod more then is needed. Truly, I'm sorry to leave Imperia without doing some of the things I outlined to do. Perhaps in some time I can return here and do what I love to do most; creating and helping players out.

Despite my dishonor in leaving as GM, I would still like to help the site out if possible, if I would be wanted elsewhere that doens't pose such a large time commitement. I will be explorering my options in the next few weeks on where best I can help. Likely I will offer to peermod threads here and there in Imperia whenever I can and am allowed. It's not that I want to leave as GM (evident by the time I've been delaying this inevitability), but that it isn't fair for you guys to wait a week or two at a time without a response or post. Hopefully in the future my real life will settle down and give me time so I can return to working with you guys.

As players, I couldn't have asked for more. You guys were creative, bright, personable, frustrating (in a good way lol), and very helpful to me. I have enjoyed roleplaying with you all. I will still be in Imperia as official GM to the 31st Oct, but I'll be around for you guys long after that as well, I'm sure.

Well shoot! Imperia is a cool place and even though I haven't been around here long, I've really enjoyed reading your write-ups. Thanks for all the help you've given me in the short time I've been here. I hope to see you around!

I didn't get to RP w/ you as much as I would have liked, but it was fun what short time I had with you BTW, d'you happen to know who the new GM for Imperia will be?
