Second Cycle of Immanis, Season of Spring.
Lynessa was exhausted by the time she reached the gate of Jadeaxia, but the exhaustian did nothing to halt the amazement she felt as she looked over at the buildings she could see through the gates, such a beautiful city she had chosen to come to. Slung over her shoulder was a large leather pouch that held the supplies and such that she had gotten from the general store so she could make the trip to Jaedaxia. She had a few articles of clothing stuffed in the bag as she would begin a possibly new life in the beautiful city, one that strangely had given birth to such people as Lyr and Guillaume, but she shouldn't think about them right now.
The fact that she had traveled alone and made it here unscathed was a wonderful feeling, no one had chosen to bother her on the road which was a wonderful feeling. She would need to find an Inn as soon as she was accepted inside and perhaps search for a job as well, since she would no longer be able to look to others to pay for her lodging and such. She would need to learn to become self suffiecent the hard way, but that was part of the adventure she figured. She got out of her visa so that it was ready for the guards that she saw as she walked behind a couple with their small daughter in their arms. It reminded her of Rose and caused her to sigh, had she been to rash in leaving so quickly based upon the actions of Rose's father? It didn't matter now, she was at Jaedaxia's door and would make a living there, at least she hoped she would.
She smiled politely at the guards and handed them her visa to the guards, she didn't feel like really starting any sort of conversation with them and nodded as she was handed back her visa and told to go ahead and proceed into the city. The adventure begins...

Fourth Cycle of Ponutis
Season of Spring
She'd once heard Jaedaxia referred to as the city of Eternal Winter, a place mired in snow throughout the seasons. Of course, she'd also heard that the Eternal Winter was no longer, though gardens of ice remained as evidence to its passing. It was slightly disappointing to find this to be true as she--accompanied by Aeyr and her half-brother Liam--continued towards the gate. Disappointing and yet a relief; Iseult was more than happy to bid winter good-bye with the turning of spring, short as winter had been that era.
The travel had been short--not much more than a pair of brightenings--and yet her feet hurt slightly, testament to the fact that Iseult spent most of her time walking the avenues of her town streets and, on occasion, the seashore...not the worn-down roads that meandered between cities that they seemed to walk endlessly for candlemarks. She would, however, opt to travel on foot before taking to buying a horse, having a somewhat irrational fear of the beasts; she'd seen someone trampled once and since harbored no desire to share the same fate.
Her companions had traveled before, seen different cities and known sights other than familiar, hometown streets. She'd never left Tearsfall and she advanced on Jaedaxia with a mix of tingled nerves and excitement. She half-feared it'd be a disappointment, that she'd meet with the same prejudice and dislike as she had back home. Would they treat her thusly once finding her to be an artisan? Wasn't Jaedaxia known for its patronage of the arts?
Her worries plagued her somewhat as she looked between Aeyr and Liam, trying not to show the anticipation. She was giddy, too, and that seemed to win out, a smile bursting out over her mouth. "I was beginning to think my feet were ready to fall off." She chuckled a little, easing her tension. If it hurt to travel the scant distance between Tears and Jaedaxia, what would it be like to travel the other ends of the empire? She didn't really want to think about that just then...
She thrust her visa out at the guard as they reached the entrance-- finally--and tapped the hilt of the dagger she wore at her hip. It was a simple thing and old, not at all well-taken care of...but Iseult knew better than to wander around in the wilds with nothing to protect herself should it ever come to that. She liked to consider herself just a little above naive.
Everything should be in order and Iseult stepped inside, gazing around her, drawing in a deep breath. Her first time away from Tearsfall...is it any small wonder she was amazed?

Fourth Cycle of Ponutis
Season of Spring
Liam was quite weary of travel. He didn't know how he had managed to be convinced to come to Jaedaxia, seeing as how he really hated the Jaxy's, but then again, family was family. Having moved over three times now, the Vagaran was getting tired of moving around and he needed a place to settle down for a while, drink some more and earn some scratch, but with all this traveling and all this drinking, he had kind of forgotten about the scratch part. Now he was almost stint broke and the Vagaran needed to round up a job or something in Jaedaxia before his half sister kicked him out on the street.
The trip to Jaedaxia had lasted a lot longer than he wanted it to. Ever since Lynessa disappeared from Tearsfall, Liam had been wondering if he was ever going to find peace within this new found family of his. Iseult had brought along a friend, Aeyr, some man Liam didn't even know and at that moment, he really didn't care. For the time being, Liam was left to himself to wallow in his doubts and withdrawal, as the lack of hooch from the prolonged trip was getting to him. He could feel his body craving the drink and it wouldn't be long before he started getting on edge.
His feet sore and his legs tired, Liam really thought that he should invest in a horse some brightening, but then again, that would have cost him a lot of money in the end. "A horse....then you have tackle, food, OH and of course you need a place to put him..." Liam sighed as he desperately wanted to get off his feet and onto a nice, warm bar stool where he could drink his darkening away.
"I really hope I don't have 'ta learn Charismimian...or whatever its called." Liam mumbled to himself as they walked towards the gate, trying to get over the memory of that one darkening with Guillaume. He hadn't mentioned anything to any of his family and no one was going to know what happened that darkening. It was primarily the reason why he hated everything to do with the Jaedaxians and Jaedaxia itself. It might have been harsh in retrospect, however that was Liam for ya.
Emptying his almost empty pocket, Liam showed the guard his visa with a long face, as the place was already getting to him as he saw all the Imperial Guards walking about. He had heard that there was still a strong military presence in the city after Jaedaxia had tried to cut itself off from the Empire and failed. He was glad he wasn't around here when it happened, as he imagined it probably wasn't the best time to be a tourist.

Timestamp: Second Cycle of the Month of Melora; in Spring.
One might say Mister Sythe wished to visit everywhere in the Empire...but then finding someone who had been to Jaedexia and purging all their memories of the place wouldn't count so he'd simply acquired a memory of Archadoon from his own mind and proceeded to Teleport himself over the course of several brightenings along the eastern edge of Libertas Bay. Finally taking a one brightening break in Paxia to recover the ring's energy and his own before arriving at the South gate to Jaedaxia.
Beneath his heavy greatcloak Duncan no doubt made a somewhat odd personage given that he was carrying all of his belongings over his shoulder at a gate where usually carriages and horsemen would come and go...but that seemed to elicit no real bother from the guards. Beneath the Illusion of I am not a mage and the same merchant named Jenius who had acquired access to Primus last month at the other end of the Empire Duncan had allocated at least some of the last month of the season to exploring the one place where rebellion so far had occurred in the Empire.
He'd be going back and forth of course once he had a room he considered, checking for notices and such like. But predominantly he would explore Jaedaxia and the mysteries it presented. The guards meanwhile had absolutely no problem with the visa of the cleanly dressed and attired Jenius. No swords in evidence, hidden as they were beneath the illusion, meant that he was freely able to pass through the quarantine zone armed; even as he made a note to ensure he left everything of importance in Paxia.
The irony therein as he smiled at the guard and retrieved his visa extremely evident; the teleportation ring gave him the ability to sleep in a completely different city and keep his equipment in a third if he so desired.
Thusly Jenius stepped into Jaedaxia. Masking the arrival of someone altogether more intriguing.

Fourth Cycle of Ponutis
Season of Spring
Aeyr had been used to travel by now but it didn't mean it was any less tiring than before. It was different, having traveled with others, and he had not expected as much as first, but it was a welcome change to making any wearying trips alone. He was not familiar with the other male that had accompanied them, but in truth it was not much of a concern. He had not caused any trouble or inconvenience, and generally did not seem like a person he could not get along with. However, it was admittable that Aeyr didn't know him very well, even after they had just endured a long trip between the three of them.
As the city of Jaedaxia slowly attained substance before them, he was left with an odd sense of familiarity that lingered even as he did not recognize its very gates. Being in its presence brought forth what memories he had left of it, but they were not very strong, and indeed held a distance that fogged his thoughts. He was brought out of it quickly enough, when Iseult spoke up in what had previously been silent air, and he gave her something of a mildly amused grin that was subtle, but there nonetheless.
"It was a tiring trip," he agreed, before looking back up at Jaedaxia. But they were here now.... And it was nice to see an option of comfortable rest laid right there before them. It wouldn't be long before they could find good shelter and better food.
He offered his visa along with the others, and nodded briefly at the guard that looked it over. His mind was quietly tracing what steps he remembered of the city, as he was eager to look them over once more.

La Porte du Sud
Last Cycle of Ponutis, Spring
It was cold, but then wasn't it always cold here? No, she reminded herself, the Everwinter that had blanketed the city had ended many patterns ago. Besides it was spring , or atleast it felt like it. But despite the season the young Vagaran women still felt a chill, it must be the bitter winds coming off the sea. As if to prove her point a cold gust came off the eastern shoreline, ruffling her short red hair and causing her to pull her cloak tighter around her wirey form. A small smile danced across her face , so much for a warm welcome.
But cold or not she was here, after many cycles of traveling she had made it to her favorite city. Just a stop along the way of course. With the seasons changing and the weather getting warmer ( well in some places ) she really should keep going all the way to Natura. But being so far inland and so far away from the releam of her forefathers made Jex nervous. So she put it off and put it off finally talking herself into stopping in Jaedaxia, just for supplies and rest , she told herself. But who knew ? Jex's short stop along the way may turned into several cycles, seasons, prehapes even a pattern or two she really wasn't in a hurry.
The city walls came closer and closer and it occured to jex that she might need her Imperial Visa. Wreched thing always getting lost, barely legiable , and mostly just a hastle to keep around as it was victum to most of the Elements (thus it being barely legiable). She dug into the deep pockets of her cloak, of which there where many, and after many moments of fruitless searching produced her Visa. Of course there was the promblem of the visa having her full name on it, but if it came up it was ," Just Jex please," her last name often got her into more trouble than she needed. She handed the guard her visa and waited those few gut wreching seconds. Her gave her a curt nod, handed her her visa back, and let her pass.

2nd Cycle of the month of Immanis in the Season of Spring
La Porte d’Ouest
It was difficult not to regret leaving the isles when confronted by the fortifications of Jaedaxia, although in truth, halfway through the journey Anamin had already forgotten why she'd left. Restlessness? Whatever the cause, she regretted it. It had been nice, really, her time in Celsianna. She'd made friends -- she thought. They were, she'd decided shortly after her arrival there, a two-faced, insular bunch, and even after three eras she had still been a tourist. That was the real reason why she'd left, she supposed. Beauty and elegance could only enthrall a girl for so long, and Anamin was a homebody at heart, or would have been if she'd a home.
Of course, Jaedaxia was beautiful too, more beautiful perhaps. Even in Spring, though, the city was a cold sort of lovely, and Anamin was used to color. Was dressed for color, in fact, in a full, bright skirt of wine colored cloth that shifted and wrapped around her legs in the wind. She was chilled to the bone. It was the strange cold of spring, where the sun warmed your face or arms but never sank beneath the skin. Ineffectual, that's what spring is, Anamin thought and shivered. Presently, she found herself at the gates. She passed through quickly, dragging her trunk behind, with a murmur to the guard. "Bonne journée."
