[Ivory Citadel] The Father-General's Office
The Father-General's office stands at the end of a long corridor, several statues and various memorials lining it. These represent various heroes both of the Order, and of the Empire at large. Emperor Constantine, Aeric Arkdün, and several other notables have their place here, memorialized for all time in bronze or marble statuary.
The hallway ends in a small reception area, perhaps no more than twenty feet on a side. There is a robust, yet plain, wooden door directly across from the hallway, apparently the door to the Father-General's office proper. This is closed securely, the wood and stone nearly seamless.
Also here is a small desk, behind which is seated Abel Darvin, the Father-General's secretary. The short man is poring over some sheets of parchment, reviewing some report or other, for further review and signature by Richter himself. After a few moments, the short, well-kept human looks up and spots you with his ice-blue eyes. "Serale, do you have an appointment?" he asks, his crisp voice very businesslike in its approach, yet still warm and welcoming somehow.
