The Enchanted Glade: Unbinding

Second Cycle, Imperos in the Season of Autumn , of Era III of the Celestine Mandate (Current Pattern) Era XII Post Fractum, the First Era of the Reign of Empress Arabella the Just

Alone the elf traveled in the night, the moon light poking through the thicket as the druid moved through the forest late at night. This forest had been his home for the last five decades, he knew it well. The elf tonight wore his typical cloak, and his form as his elven self. He breathed in this his home: the forest where he would begin the production of the Arcanic Staff of power he had read about in the Bosquet de Druides. It was not long before he arrived at the enchanted glade.

The druid sat down and began to clear his mind. He would have to have a perfectly pure mind in order to unbind the trees. He sat there in the enchanted glade, his mind purified, like silt pushed down stream, his mind's river pushed the all grains of thought, allowing him to see mentally the parallel reality that is the essense of nature.

Eyes still closed, Aladamis sensed both his awareness of the natural plain and the grove's independant spirit, and its own bound link to nature. As a journeyman, he was taught how to unbind a bound person, and now Aladamis focused upon understanding the collective mind of the enchanted grove. He then attempted to break the barriers between the tree directly infront of him. These barriers appear almost physically in Aladamis' understanding of both this forest in particular, and this process of the unbinding.

He then spoke, eyes still shut; "Sacred Grove of Old, Open your mind to the unseen, listen to my words, I am both your servant and your master. Allow me, your servant for the past 50 patterns, to magically unbind you now, yeild to me, your master in this moment, the magical rod that will allow me to further be your servant."

Aladamis focused, and magically began to break, one by one, the binding that held the glade from magical understanding, and himself from the first part of creating a magical staff.
