„I need your service in the coming war“, Anvael answered. He was surprised that they didn’t know. He had thought somebody would have told them by now. “As you probably know we don’t have enough mages in Taralon. In fact we have next to none due to the mage regulators. But the orcs do. We have evidence that there are spellcasters among them, and thus we need all the help we can get. We need mages who support our armies, and mages who stay behind in Taralon and work in the background. Whatever you can do, it will be of the utmost importance, and I’ll be forever grateful.” His little speech was a bit of an exaggeration since the women were only apprentices, but then again, they were better than none. Anvael didn’t really feel competent to involve himself in military matters, but that was something he could do, work on the relations with Vers and reintegrate the mages into Taralonian society.
